"I can't give One Call five stars, but it was close."

As is the case with all insurance companies and brokers, there always seems to be some wiggle room between their renewal price, and the minimum premium they're prepared to accept. This was the case today; Keira (KT1) was courteous, professional and extremely helpful, and managed to reduce my renewal premium by an acceptable amount. It's just frustrating that consumers like myself have to make the effort to check how competitive a renewal premium is, then challenge the company to reduce it - which they invariably do.

"An insulting webchat"

An insulting webchat with an "advisor" who insinuated that I was "lying" as I could not take a photo of my car to prove I had not scrapped it, therefore I had to pay a cancellation fee. Then proceeded to make numerous mistakes themselves. As an OAP I found this most distressing. Not impressed with this customer service at all.

"Rang for a cheaper quote other than the."

Rang for a cheaper quote other than the first they offered me and they found one, still a little more expensive than another companies quote but after they offered me this new quote , close enough ,not worth changing for , so all ok ,although I've never as of today made a claim with one call I hope I don't have to , so I can't comment on that side of their business , the lady I spoke to was straight to the point , a little cold though but after I thanked her she was ok , thanks , I hope this is a fair review .?

"absolutely useless"

absolutely useless. 8 hours on phone to report an accident not our fault. 16 months later nd nothing. 2 follow on phone calls, its so cheap because its absolutely rubbish. so so disappointed. any good reviews must be fake.

"Didn't inspire confidence...!"

I had a renewal notice sent re my car cover which bizarrely said the premium was '$0.00'!As it was automatic renewal I phoned to query. Ages on the phone and no call back as offered. Signed into CHAT only to find I was number 40. Not having a good day. Rather than correcting the error the guy I dealt with wanted to ask me loads of questions. I didn't complete the process as I had another appointment. Went onto CHAT today and explained why I was cancelling. The agent all but called me a liar as his company "didn't offer free insurance" ( I have a copy of the renewal notice but at this stage was losing the will to live!)

"One Call.but you can't actually call"

I have been a customer of ironically named ONE CALL for approximately two weeks and they have already sent me a threatening letter with incorrect information and THERE ARE NO NUMBERS TO CALL.you can only communicate online via email or chat apps. Won't use again.avoid!
