"Crazy expensive auto renew with no warning"

Out of the blue $1500 is taken out of my bank account (4x my previous premium) followed an hour later by a renewal thank you email. What happened to any warning ahead of this event? One Call say a renewal inviation email was sent 21 days previously but it never arrived.That's all bad enough, but the real fail was that it took over an HOUR on online chat to get the renewal cancelled. Why? Because apparently you have to call the renewal phone number. No good for me as I'm in Australia right now. Eventually after a lot of pressure and escalation to management the renewal was cancelled (I hope). Overall a very poor experience.

"Absolutely shocking customer service service"

Absolutely shocking customer service. After a lengthy conversation on chat with KT 1. We agreed a new price and I requested it in writing. I did not want to pay monthly. I did not receive new documents but I did receive a new monthly DD plan. I finally obtained a phone number and spoke to a girl that had no customer service skill at all. She quoted me from our original chat, that I have in full (screen shot) and was very rude. I absolutely stated I did not want D/D payments. 100% would not recommend Onecall insurance.

"Bad customer service"

Bad customer service, inefficient and lazy. Onecall have plagued me with renewal notices, letters, emails and texts. You can't use their chat service for renewals even though the above communications say you can. The only method is phone. After I eventually got through I told them I wanted to cancel the policy. I thought I'd got through to a human with a brain but it seems not as I am still being bombarded with renewal comes.I'm not wasting any more of my precious time in their phone queue they are a useless organisation and I have already gone elsewhere.

"May be cheap but stay away"

Probably a good one if you are not cancelling the insurance...had with them for a year...renewed it...and has to cancel it after 6 months as i sold the bike...not only did i not get any refund but i was charged $13.99 to canel the policy and get my NCD...customer service is pretty bad and the company policy even worse...stay away even if they are the cheapest new insurance

"A dreadful company to do business with"

A dreadful company to do business with. My experiences made me question their honesty. Certainly some of their online operatives need better training in their field. No phone lines, endless waits in Live Chat in order to talk to someone whose knowledge is sketchy, and inconsistent answers to questions make for a frustrating experience and a lot of wasted time. One assistant on 4/3/24 (TD2) even closed the window on me to end the chat while I was typing a question. Very rude. I could not recommend them to anyone.

"One of the worst insurance companies."

One of the worst insurance companies out there. Apart from there charges to change your policy details (extortionate). My renewal quote went up by 25%! You try and get hold of them...There are two options online chat, not available, or phone. I spent over 40 minutes waiting in a queue. When they did finally answer they thought they were giving me a call back, I did correct them on that detail!

"I tried and tried to contact them for."

I tried and tried to contact them for two days to review my motor insurance policy which is on a monthly renewal. The customer portal would not allow me to communicate to an agent, hence was not able to discuss my needs. I tried calling them on the main phone line but the line appeared dead. It was frustrating as the automatic renewal was getting closer, and even their emails was a no reply bar. Eventually I wrote them a letter to cancel my policy.
