"I had car insurance for a year December."

I had car insurance for a year December 2022-2023 the car I had the back axle broken and was took off road. Cancelled insurance with one call . On the live chat with someone call Melissa. I took screenshots. She said I wasn't entitled to any money back. Even though it was only 6 months used on the 12 month contract. This money was paid in full.This happened June 2023. Car off road.Cancelled tax.I got new car and insurance with a different company. Then when I looked at my account on December 2023, 6 months after old car was off the road. This company took money out of my bank. I contacted my bank and cancelled this. I did not need a car that's off the road insurance. I am getting hounded by this company saying "Failure to make payment or arrange a payment plan will affect your personal credit rating and result in interest and handling fees being added to your current balance. They should stop harassing people and if I didn't apply for this insurance you can't automatically take my money out of my account.A apology would be nice but I wouldn't count on it.Do not recommend zero rate from me.

"Your quotes this year were excessive"

Your quotes this year were excessive. I'm 51 yr old not 17. Last year I was paying $39/mth for a 2 litre hdi french car. I changed last October to a 1.6 hdi French car and for the trouble payments changed to $81.60 I advised on renewal in April this I need a realistic quote. Received one for $64.88 / mth Called and asked for better. I was offered $666.23 or $60.57 mth - more than 50% up on last year. I have been loyal to Onecall for over a decade. This was after the first comparison search I did came back at $438 or $39 /mth - the next half a dozen were under $500 for the same if not better cover - so much for loyalty. To top this when I got home I had another quote emailed to me - $65.23 A month. Up on my original quote. That lost you a customer today. I would have stayed at under $50 - must not want the business.

"'Contact us' impossible."

It's extremely difficult to contact customer services. I wanted to find out why my house insurance automatically increased by 53.2%, but the only way to contact them was by Live Chat which is an incredibly long wait (I actually gave up). I looked through my documentation and it said to contact them by phone, but I couldn't find a phone anywhere. This doesn't bode well for if I need to make a claim so I will be cancelling my insurance with them.

"One call were finally able to offer a good."

One call were able to offer a good price after questioning their very expensive renewal quotation. A shame this was not offered initially. Getting to talk to an agent was very difficult due to "high call volumes" (don't believe it!!) and repeated calls from me. Then had to sit through a ridiculously long telephone declaration that should have been mailed. 4 days and much grief to get to a good price. Not easy to deal with.

"Your mistake impacts me, the customer"

I reached out to OneCall to request a change of policy holder name. They confirmed this had been completed without cost, so far so good! I then receive a letter in the post highlighting my policy was to cancel.in two days, due to "changes in circumstances". This left me with no time whatsoever and very flustered to work out what they had done.I then spent over an hour talking to the "chat" function which has to be the worst customer service agent I'd ever experienced, no understanding of what had happened and responses that led to more confusion. We finally got to the crux, that OneCall made a mistake and should have let a change occur (not my fault) I asked to speak to someone on the phone, this was after a full hour of arguing and waiting for the "chat" agent to actually respond with anything useful. i was advised the changes i had made (and had confirmation on) shouldn't have happened, as such my options were -1. Cancel and create a new contract (funnily enough this was an extra $300 a year for the same cover!) absolute con artists2. let the contract terminate (in two days) and still pay a cancelation fee for the remainder of the contract EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS ONECALL's error.The customer service and overall support is awful with OneCall, and their staff don't care or know what they are actually doing. This was categorically their mistake, but as you cant talk to anyone on the phone you get the same responses over and over via the chat personnel.Be warned OneCall are not a company you want to rely on when you need it most!

"Motorbike policy - awful experience"

Motorbike policy. Unfortunately had my bike stolen and one call were literally no help. No one to speak to, passed from pillar to post. No customer care, online form for chat to claims dept just buffers and doesn't work. Unfortunately for me I have another policy with them but once I renew that would never ever use them again.

"Typical money grabbing insurance."

Typical money grabbing insurance company. Started my policy and paid $400 outright. After my policy had begun they sent me an email stating they wanted extra paperwork from me. I missed the email and subsequently they cancelled my insurance. They charged me $30 for the day or two I was covered then another $50 admin fee for the pleasure. I tried to call them before it was cancelled but there is no call-line you can get in touch with them with. Kept being redirected to an online chatbot that would time out every 5 minutes. Would never insure with OneCall again. No customer care, just interested in taking your money.

"One call insurance are thieves"

One call insurance are thieves. I cancelled my home insurance policy with them and cancelled the direct debit. Today they have taken $163 from my bank card without my permission. The say there is nothing they can do about it and I can't get in touch with one call to discuss the theft of the money.
