"one call ins has to be the most."

one call ins has to be the most difficult outfit to get in touch with, absolute nightmare,( want to talk to us ) it says on their site, well yes actually i do, but all you get is Q,s and A,s, thats not talking to you.they are difficult and will not show any remorse for the time we spend trying to get where we want to be, and as for their renewals, about 70 percent increase, even dick turpin wore a mask, Robbing people, because they can.

"Asked for an auto renewal to be stopped."

Asked for an auto renewal to be stopped as I no longer owned the car , they still re insured it and would not cancel the new policy , now threatening me with bailiffs, absolutely rubbish company and I'll never use again .

"Long call wait, but good service"

When I got through, one failed attempt after 1 hour wait, second time I did call back which happened in 15 mins, it was good service. DA1 was helpful and sorted renewal at a good price, only $20 more than last year, which seems to be amazing compared to other stories I hear.

"Enshittification of car insurance"

Apparently I "opted to benefit from continuous cover", meaning my policy will auto-renew at a premium double what I paid last year.I don't remember opting to do this, but hey ho.Can I update my account online to stop the auto-renewal? No. I have to speak to someone.Can I use Live Chat to do this? No. No one is available, despite the advertised opening hours. Can I phone someone? No. Again, the phone line is closed on Saturday morning. Next day update:Can I waste a further 45 minutes of my time using the Live Chat to eventually cancel my policy? Yes, provided you have the patience to use the chat window that loses a place in the queue if the screen locks through inactivity and that starts with 26 people ahead of me in the queue.

".....You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave ". This seems to be the case with One Call Insurance. I do not wish to renew my car insurance with them but they make this very difficult. I went into my account using the portal and which says that you have to speak to an agent if you do not wish to renew the policy. When I pressed the appropriate button I was informed that I was 37th in the queue - I was not prepared to wait. The problem that I have is that the policy automatically renews and because I paid for the policy using my debit card there is no direct debit that I can cancel. Fortunately I was visiting my bank recently on other matters and took the opportunity to put a stop on the automatic renewal. One Call Insurance seemed to have designed a system to make it as difficult as possible to cancel an automatic renewal - and which I consider smacks of sharp practice. "....You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave".

"I received my Home Insurance Renewal."

I received my Home Insurance Renewal which has increased by 50% I have been attempting for several days to cancel the renewal. I have made multiple phone calls and attempted multiple live chats within the hours stated on the website. Each time I am greeted with the response this service is temporality unavailable. I attempted to call whilst at work to be told the lines were busy and that if I pressed option 1 I would receive a call back, which I did however as I was at work I missed the call , I immediately called back to be told -the lines were temporarily closed!! I wanted to complain however this has to be done through the live chat and guess what - this service is temporarily closed!!! For a company that promotes the on-line advantages of their Insurance I cannot believe there is no option to contact them via email. The price may be great but if there are any problems the service is appalling.

Can get contact anyone at onecall no phone number portal don't work and live chat also does not work need to renew my insurance and amend it but can't not user friendly or even functional very very poor
