I hated that I was unable to phone except if I had a claim. If there is a general enquiry number please put it on the portal. I spent hours trying to get my policy changed as the portal would not recognise the registration of my new car. But Annie was very helpful and sorted it out for me

Downside, I had to wait 20 mins to get through on the phone (although they did offer a return call service that I wasn't in a position to take up).Once through they sorted me out quickly (in fact the price went down as we were speaking so that was a bonus)

Beware. OneCall auto renew insurance, and when it comes to trying to stop that, they make it VERY difficult. It is nigh impossible to find a phone number, and the online help is awful - you'll wait a considerable length of time . My attempt today, over 40 before me in the queue. I had this with my home insurance and now car, so will NEVER insure through OneCall again. It is obviously purposely made difficult....

"It is not a surprise this company has a."
It is not a surprise this company has a negative trust pilot review. My policy doubled in price. No communications were received to advise me of this. When I priced around this was significantly more than other providers 30-40% more, I asked them could they match other quotes as I had been a platinum customer for 3+ years. The customer services advisor was actually incredibly rude. They blamed cost of living for policy hike ignoring that other providers were not this expensive. I cancelled my policy due to price and also largely due to the advisor being outright cheeky. I was then chased up by text threatening with debt collectors for missed payments, no communication from them again to explain why I owed money, how much or how to pay this. Impossible to find out why as transferred from one department to another with live chat lasting over an hour at a time with no outcome to the simplest of queries. Finally I got a customer service agent on one chat who was able to explain the issue turns out they charged me a full extra month after cancelling so I had paid double insurance this month. Again this wasn't explained at point of cancellation as the adviser was too busy being a smart ass but what do you expect at this point. It is impossible to get anything resolved as you can only communicate via a very glitchy and slow chat portal. Please do yourself a favour and swerve this company as I can't imagine ever actually claiming from them would be anything short of impossible. I ended up paying the extra to get them to go away . they were v quick to harass and hassle when they wanted money. Avoid avoid avoid. I often read reviews but rarely leave but felt it was really important to let others know when an experience is particularly bad.
