"Avoid, no contact numbers and online chat takes hours to get hold of someone"
Fine as long as you don't need to contact them, no phone numbers available even if you want to complain your directed to there online chat which if you get through to someone within and 1hr 30mins is nothing short of a miracle. Extremely painful process, had to contact as hadn't realised they had added auto renewal to my insurance. Took me at least 10 tries on the online chat before I managed to get someone. Told them after waiting so long to get through to them I had no interest in have a requotation as didn't have the time yet they still kept me waiting extra 10 mins whilst they did requote I didn't want and wasn't interested in. All in all awful experience. Had the same for my father's car insurance which took me ages to cancel yet they still took his full renewal from his bank but expected him to wait nearly 2 weeks to get a refund. I'd never use this company again.

Call handler KT1 was pleasant helpful and informative, checking that I was happy with the cover for house insurance. She did speak with her manager to get my renewal quote down to a compatible price I had been quoted from other insurers.My only gripe was the initial time waiting to speak to an advisor which was 20 minutes in a queue.

"Chat bot not working so have to phone to cancel autorenew"
They auto renew and ask you to contact them via their online chat if you want to cancel. However their online chat isn't enabled - tried multiple browsers and still no joy. You have to phone the number they send on the renewal letter (01302564527) and then hold before you can cancel. They offer a call back service but given how flaky their chat button was i didn't use it.

"Stress"
Stress, broken promises, it should be easy but it wasn't we were insured and only wanted our cover for what we paid for . We were not to blame car written off but every attempt was made to save them money including car hire before we received our settlement that was promised so we were left without a car, which only cost us extra money.We will not insure with them again . We are over 65 and never claimed before ever, It was a hit and run ( by a stolen car) and we had paid for those circumstances.

"One Call Insurance, Just a Costly Joke Company"
First of all I would like to say "One Call" is a stupid name or a company that you just cannot contact.I was with this company last year put they decided to increase my policy 120% no accidents, no claims, nothing, same address, no convictions, most of all no reason given? It is time to get a quote for this year, and I have spent around three hours of my life trying to get sense out of this company. Online chat has you waiting forever, only to direct you to the online quote system that I have already tried, input all your details and when it is time (Finally) to quote you it gives a message that this time we cannot quote, it could be an error try again, JUST A JOKE. finally a phone number for sales, try that and watch your life drain away, I just wonder how can a company survive when it puts every obstacle in your way not to get insured with them. One Call Insurance, you to me are now History and I urge others to treat this Joke of a company the same.

Awful experience with them glad I've left them now and gone with a more reputable company. I was hit with a very hefty $44.50 charge for cancelling within the cooling off period for my home insurance. The reviews must be made up. I would never deal with these again ?

Took out a motor policy but wanted a paper copy of documents, this was supposed to be available to request through their portal, it wasn't. Also tried to change auto renewal (twice) but kept reverting back to auto renewal. Wanted to speak to someone but can't as the only telephone number is for claims and the queues are horrendous. Live chat was suggested but every time I tried it stated " closed" . I decided to cancel and they've charged me two lots of cancellation fees ( a cooling off period of 14 days was as initially advertised) even though my policy has not yet started.
