"They openly lie to scam you"

When I was stationed in Virginia, I went to a Best buy to buy a new phone. When there I asked about insurance, I knew that I would be stationed in Japan after and I asked the agent specifically if I would be able to use the insurance while there. Could I essentially mail my phone back. The agent told me yes, absolutely best a way of repairing with each squad. Once I was in Japan and needed the service, I called customer service and after being transferred around for several hours wasting my time, Best buy informed me that no, they actually don't do that. That. And I would have to come back to the United States. I told him that I could not come back to the United States as I was stationed in Japan. And they basically told me. Oh well. Glad we got your insurance money from you and you can't use it. Worst company ever. I will never shop there again. Then I would encourage you to find someone else. Find another company that Connors the contracts. And doesn't lie directly to your face.

"Best Buy delivered very poor customer service"

Best Buy delivered very poor, disorganized and incompetent customer service. So our dryer had major issues and we decided to replace the 10 year old washer and dryer set. We thought Best Buy would be a good place to shop. Well we were very very wrong. We had to wait over a week to have it delivered. The day finally came and the delivery man kept delaying dropping it off. He texted over and over his supposed progress making the delivery time later and later. He finally said he'd be at our place at 7. Three adults waited and listened for the doorbell and waited for the text stating he was here. No call and no doorbell. Although he had texted repeatedly throughout the afternoon telling my husband he was running late, he didn't text us or call us to let us know he was actually here and just left!! The next day when James called to complain he was told the guy said he took pics (?) and said he knocked and waited 5 min. The fact that he *didn't call or text* when he *supposedly* knocked and got no response (like the texting he had been doing for hours), was very poor customer service. I'm assuming he wanted to make sure he didn't get a poor rating for a very late delivery, and just left. We spent hours being transferred from one customer service agent over and over again trying to get this resolved. Instead of Best Buy taking ownership of this issue and making it right, by at least delivering it on Saturday (days later than it should have been) they refused and said instead we could wait almost another week from the original date to have it delivered. With so many choices out there we won't be using them again. Between the incompetence and lack of integrity that they demonstit's not worth all the time we spent trying to get this issue fixed. Buyer beware..exhale

I received a laptop yesterday and it has 25 different viruses on it. This is very concerning!! Do not buy a refurbished laptop from Best Buy!!

"Totally don't recommend"

I ordered iphone 128Gb Starlight just before Christmas with shipping on Saturday 23rd of December. I didn't receive package till today. No information, no phone. No Christmas gift. Best Buy is the completely unprofessional shop. Don't buy here anything. Don't recommend

"Genuinely terrible customer service"

Gotta say, I've never felt the need to write a review for a company before. I decided to buy a few things off Best Buy's online store for a change. They had some good deals so I figured "why not?" Long story short, I've had to deal with customer service for every single transaction- and the customer service is pretty god awful. They're borderline useless in the online chat tool, and when you call, it's extremely hard to communicate with them because they have incredibly thick accents, AND the call constantly gets dropped. Among many other issues I've had with them, I cancelled my last order with them, but instead of refunding me, they just double charge me. It's the second time I've expected a refund but got recharged instead. (How does this even happen?) I had to file a claim with my bank and stop all charges from Best Buy. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. It's insane to me that they're allowed to do this. They basically stole money from me and are making it impossible to get it back. Never buying anything from Best Buy online or brick & mortar ever again.

"Disgusting Service"

Wish I could give them a minus 5. I purchased a $750 Green Works mower kit last month but just opened it today since it was a gift for my son's new home. Pulled out the trimmer and blower but the Charger and battery was missing. Chatted with Best Buy and they state they cannot help me because it's over the return period. It's just over a month and not even used. Please DONT buy anything from them. Definitely would not recommend them. Lousiest customer service I've ever encountered. Cannot return it cannot use it. WORST BUY.

"My company is finished with Best Buy"

I have always went to Best Buy for my office needs in the past. Just purchased a new laptop for my business. My computer is making loud noises. To make a long story short, all call I have made to ALL Best Buy numbers are out sourced.. . the store I loved has gone to hell. If you are a business owner and need to keep your business up and running; think again. They need to have a zero star rating.

"Think twice about purchasing My Best."

Think twice about purchasing My Best Buy Total. Best Buy wouldn't honor lowest price match within the 60 day period after previously matching Amazon.com price for same item twice. I attempted twice today to get price match, once from chat and the other from phone call. I was told by both you are only allowed one time to match price even though I had previously matched twice and in their FAQ Learn about Best Buy Price Match Guarantee they state "After my purchase can I price match more than once during my return and exchange period?Yes. If all other price match criteria are met, you can price match multiple times during the return and exchange period." I have a screen shot showing the price and the time of day and pdf of chat conversation. I also have a copy of the previous chat where the agent told me I could match the price as many times i find a lower price within the first 60 days per the My Best Buy Total agreement. The price changed on Amazon.com during my second attempt with a phone call immediately following todays chat.

"I went into Best Buy to purchase a new."

I went into Best Buy to purchase a new computer for my husband. They sold me a new computer that was incapable of doing data transfer for the hard drive on my old computer. They went ahead and did the data transfer and left me with a computer that wouldn't even turn on. I could not take the computer back because of the data transfer and ended up having to spend an extra $300 for not only a new hard drive for the new computer, but for the keyboard that they scrapped when they left the chip in the port. I found out that they no longer have customer service at their stores. Their customer service goes through Japan and you cannot even reach a person by phone in your local store. I was given a card by the Geek Squad with an extension to call that went directly to Japan and I was lied to by the " customer service person " when I asked her if she at our local store. There is no customer service at Best Buy. It is a real issue especially with their Geek Squad program and they do not stand behind what they sell. I'm going to tear up my credit card and cancel my membership as soon as I pay the balance off, which will be soon, and I will never set foot in their store again, this is one of the worst experiences of my life. I have shopped there and bought multiple computers and supplies for over 20 years. I what a the !!!

Corrie;I know you DO NOT care about issues with customers, you have disregarded all my emails since 11/22 regarding the way your employees Ricky treated me and your negation of issuing my refund for the merchandize that I never took possession. One of your employees informed me that a refund was issues, I requested a copy and to where it was paid, last time I heard from him.Due to your abuse towards me also, I have anot and have informed my family NOT to BUY from Bestbuy, over 2 years of NO sales towards my family and I have and will keep bad mothing BESTBUY for its treatment against customers and the refusal to make refunds on merchandize that was never delivered, delivery that should have been in store, merchandize not available, plus the abusive treatment that your manager RICKY treated me, besides being a senior citizen over 67 at that moment.If I do not have the complete refund issued by 04/29/2024 at 12 noon, I will have to take legal action against BESTBUY. Enclosed what I paid BESTBUY plus the interest to AFFIRM plus interest till the date BESTBUY refunds my monies, if I have to go legally BESTBUY at the store in November 2022 caused me grat stress and iregular heart beat due to the abuse, so that would be a diferent story (enclosed payment to AFFIRM).Have a great dayRobert Dirnfeld - Abused Senior Citizen Customer305-812-0007
