"How Much Time is Important to know.."

Take To much Time my Appointment was At12.15 and I was spend 6 hour in vfs And Come Out from vfs at 6:05 And There was No Staff In premium lounge that help me To filling My Form And There are Lots of people like me that Struggling During the form Filling process And the Staff Was Very Hyper due to Rush And They can communicate properly to The Customers...

"New biometrics for nothing"

We do not like the fact that VFS is quite passive in voicing out towards Canada Embassy the error in online application system, which we (my wife and I) were experiencing. When we on-line applied on March 15, 2024 we were given the option to provide our new biometrics (the old one still valid until Oct 2029) with the indication that we could get visa longer than the validity date of our biometrics. We chose the option and paid the fees since our passports are valid until 2034. On March 25, 2024 we were requested by VFS for new biometrics collection, which we did on Apr 3, 2024. On March 28, 2024 we were told that our application has been approved and that we should submit our original passports to VFS. After knowing that the new validity of our biometrics in IRCC portal is until Apr 3, 2034, we then submitted our original passports on Apr 17, 2024 with the hope that we will be granted the visitor visa based on new validity of biometrics. Today we are really shocked that the visas given to us (E742447065 and E742447067) do not consider at all our new biometrics. We feel that the system here is not right and should be corrected. We want to get our money back (170 CAD) for the biometrics fees.

"I think I was charged too much"

I liked the speed with which the visas were processed. However, I think there are many things that can be improved on. Firstly the booking system is confusing as it has the option to add individuals to a booking but eventually I had to make separate bookings. Secondly, the website is also not clear on the list of supporting documents that are required. I also had questions about the fees I was charged. I paid three courier fees, but only one weighbill was used, thus effectively only one fee. I had to pay the full visa application fee (R1700) for my 8 year old child, but the visa that was issued show "free" and the Croatian embassy website also state visa for children up to age 12 is free.

"Service at vfs is good but not the."

Service at vfs is good but not the appointment booking process on the website. No consistency in their drop downs while selecting visa category. Bangalore branch options are different than Chennai and Chennai is different than Hyderabad etc..When family is travelling for the visa then why all members should book different appointments even though it's a single filing to the consulates. These two points should definitely improve. I felt the way US manages their visa process towards family, child and senior citizens should be taken as reference to improve.

"We are a group 8 members travelling to."

We are a group 8 members travelling to Italy in may. We got the appointment after waiting for a long time. While enquiring about the visa documents to be submitted they shared us a pdf in which all documents which should submit is mentioned. At first 3 members got the appointment on 10th and the including me others got on 11th. But upon coming on the scheduled day we were told that we don't have enough documents and they provided us the updated visa documents to be submitted. We were not updated about the new requirements or this new one is not even updated on internet.

"The queue outside the building looked."

The queue outside the building looked frightening. I queued for just under an hour to get into the building. However, once you get inside, it is not that bad. The queue marshall should only allow people to queue if they have an appointment within the next hour or so.
