"One Star ? Not One Call"
Something seems odd here with Trustpilot reviews for One Call Insurance because there's 2 sets of reviews both showing as being on Trustpilot for one call. The problem is that one call insurance has been trading since 1995 almost 30 years and I'm sure they were at one time a very good well respected insurance broker, today that most certainly isn't the case.Forget the other trustpilot reviews showing 4.8 Trust me this company is today probably the worst insurance broker you'd ever wish to be involved with. They really aren't worth even one star. They will only take your money but then that's it. Nothing else but heartache is possible from there on. They will never respond to you not by phone, portal or email. They will blatantly lie to you and then have you waiting on the phone the next day for another hour to try and speak with someone. Read the one star reviews and look when they were placed. you will find that more one star reviews were received in any 24hr period than any other ratings and then make your own mind up. Ignore the 4.8 stars overall rating it's present day state of this company that matters not how they were 29 years ago. Any five star reviews for this company can only be fake. Find out the hard way if you wish.

After quite a long wait on Live Chat to amend details for insurance policy I was given phone number to speak to renewals advisors. Again a long wait in queue but eventually spoke to advisor who very quickly and efficiently arranged my policy changes.

Bad customer service can't speak to anyone no one rings back and the customer portal is a joke to use . Waited 2 hours on the phone for no one to answer my policy is up for renewal and need to change my address on it and no wants to help joke company with unhelpful staff

these reviews must be false i used this company last year ,it was an absolute catalogue of disasters , was told my car was at a certain garage , went to collect my belongins as car was written off , car never been there also owner was very annoyed as onecall has been using his address for 2 years , tracked it down to a scrapyard eventually got paid well below market price , then found out via DVLA car was back on road , bit ironic to" onecall" as its near impossible to call ,

Sorry no one gets 5 stars. Young chap I spoke with (TH,JH) I FORGET sorry toyo. u was helpful. Polite. Approachable. Explained everything and sorted tiny issues I had. The Web sites a different story though

"My van was written off by a third."
My van was written off by a third party, my monthly payments where up to date and I even paid the following month after the crash, phoned one call to cancel the insurance since I no longer needed it, they "worked out" that I owed the remainder of the policy (5 month) to cancel it as the vehicle was written off( not my fault) I explained this to the advisor and she replied back it's also not our fault and they can charge whatever they like as a cancellation fee! ? horrendous to deal with for the accident also. no updates I was paid out minus the VAT even though I'm not vat registered and emailed them this information aswell. And when I contacted for updates it was as though I was annoying them (I contacted twice in the month it took to deal with the accident. I'd like to add that I questioned the cancellation cost and they pretty much replied if I didn't cancel it they would and I'd have a cancelled policy that I would have to inform on my next insurance. Ultimately took the money form the account without my permission anyway. Don't bother pay the extra to go with the next insurance
