"Very disappointing and poor service"

I am very disappointed with the poor service provided and agree with most of the negative comments in other reviews.The website is useless. The link to report an accident didn't work, when I needed it. The Chat Live doesn't work most of the time and there is no email address to contact. You can't cancel the auto-renewal online and I had to spend good time to be able to get through to speak to them and cancel this.When I called their renewal line, I was waiting for over half an hour to be answered.The schedule for renewal didn't include any information about the property or the claim I had. When I called them to check, they confirmed that they have all the information about the claim on their system and the new insurer is aware about that. When I insisted that they send me written confirmation, they said they don't do that and they have to contact the insurer. It turned out that they have not informed the insurer regarding the details I gave them. Thy even wanted to charge me for their mistake! but I refused and insisted on full refund.I am surprised with the positive reviews they have, and will definitely never use them again or recommend them.

"Better premium"

I rang to discuss my car insurance renewal. Having waited ages for the live chat facility (such a waste of time), I gave up and rang them. Again I waited and then left it to them to call me back, which they did pretty quickly. Holly (HH3) was very helpful and sorted the couple of changes, resulting in a better premium. Very satisfied.

"Impossible to get through to to cancel renewal"

Please check out the reviews under 'Onecall' (without the space) as this will give you a truer view of this company...Absolutely shocking customer service - my father (in his 70s) received his renewal quote which had gone up over 100% - tried for 4 days to get through to them. Impossible to get through on any of the phone numbers, ''Live Chat'' when selecting the reason for chat as 'Renewal Query' was always either closed or busy, funnily enough if I selected the reason as 'I'm thinking of taking out a policy' I immediately got through but alas this girl couldn't help me as I needed the 'renewal department'' (who I couldn't get through to) and she couldn't transfer me. Dads starting to panic because Onecall were going to take the full payment from his card for an insurance he didn't want. I eventually get through on day 4 of trying (day before said payment is due to come out) I go through all the security (with my Dads details) they give me the usual spiel that they can re-quote (I refuse) they let me change the email address on the account but then tell me they cant actually cancel the renewal without speaking to my Dad. I really don't mind that they wanted to speak to him personally (security and all that) but: 1. We'd been trying 4 days to get through, 2. They took all my dads details and let me change the email address on the account without speaking to him??? Oh and we couldn't register on the customer portal because you have to use the email address you had when taking out the policy which he no longer has access to (old work email)I hate to think what would happen if he'd needed to make a claim as they are impossible to speak to.

"Unable to contact"

If you connect chat services you will be on waiting say, operator will be with you shortly. But after 1 Hour, person will connect. Then they will ask your Postcode.After postcode provided then they said I apologies for your wait. My name is JS7 how can I help you?Unfortunately you are through to the wrong department, I am just going to transfer this chat to an agent in the correct team.Then we need to wait another 30 min to 1 hour.ONECALL INSURANCE don't have contact number or email ID to contact. is So annoying and too stressed to contact.Once you ask chatting reference, they will be said as below, but no email sent 129.J C said:the email is sent once the policy has been cancelledbut till no email.If your internet cut out disconnected then you cant see any think

"The Chat makes it impossible to cancel Renewal!"

The Chat is impossible. Waiting 5-10 minutes for each and every response is not acceptable. To cancel your renewal you must Chat with them and they delay as long as possible so that you cant cancel. I left a statement saying take this as notification of my wish to not renew twice and they state its not enough, as was the wrong department and not confirmed.

Tired of waiting

"No live chat for renewals and finding."

No live chat for renewals and finding the phone number to call them on is almost impossible.I'm now waiting on the phone (30 minutes so far) to check where my automatically renewed policy documents are as they haven't appeared on the portal. I'm not actually sure what I've been charged for my insurance either?This is my second year with One Call and it's not giving me the same sort of customer support I've received from other insurance companies i.e. a means of communication, even email.

"These reviews are at best questionable."

These reviews are at best questionable.It's impossible to make telephone contact and yet they all indicate that was the means of communication.I have paid for car insurance two weeks ago but cannot access the "portal" for my documents.They refuse to recognise my email and password and yet I very carefully noted the password.I believe they are scamming.
