"A satisfactory experience"

I received an email that my car insurance renewal was ready on their portal. I logged onto the portal and saw the renewal which was a lot more than the previous year. I telephoned One Call and they called my back quite promptly. A man (whose name I didn't catch) was business-liked and efficient. The upshot was I received a small discount; not a lot but enough that I renewed my car insurance with them.

"No phone line support and difficult to cancel."

No phone line support. And they make it difficult for you to cancel the auto-renewal after a year. You can only cancel the auto-renew during their chat opening hours, and the person on the other side of the chat (or a bot?) keeps trying to sell you back in. I had to ask 5 times before they would let me cancel.

"I have been with one call for a few."

I have been with one call for a few years and can't fault their service or price except at renewal. I would have given 5 star but since I paid my renewal I have had 3 emails and 4 texts telling me its time to renew.

"Lack of communication regarding renewal"

Been a customer for 4-5 years and my renewal is due but i did not received any communication about the renewal until a text message came this morning saying they had tried to take the payment but it had not gone through (good thing too - card had expired). So I logged on to see my renewal quotation letter had been geneon 15th March but I had not received any notification of the renewal. So i clicked on their online chat which says its open weekdays between 8-8 and weekends 9-4. Today is a weekday - at 11.30am it displayed a popup saying the online chat is closed and then re-iterating the opening hours. According to the open hours the online chat should not be closed. Furthermore tried calling and I could not get through either. So I am a bit reluctant to renew if its going to be hard to get hold of them to discuss my renewal.

"Long waiting time to get through to."

Long waiting time to get through to chat Live chat only on an evening from 5pm is a bit frustrating. JS5 was helpful. He said I had to listen to some info at the end of our call, and not to hang up. However, there was no info as he hung up on me! ????
