"Refund issue"
Took out fully comp insurance policy for my motorcycle on 13/12/23 , costing $96.Due to health issues I had to cancel the policy on 13/3/24 , so it had only been active for 3 months.I went on the chat line and cancelled the policy , which cost $12.So if my maths are correct the policy ran for a third of its duration , so that's $32 and the cancellation fee was $12, so that leaves a balance of $52 which you would think would be refunded.But no , when I queried the $0 refund I was given a rationale of all the costs which were deducted so as not to leave me any refund , coincidentally adding up to exactly the cost of the initial premium !Very disappointed, and feel a bit cheated , a shame because buying the insurance and the online service was very good and better than other sites I have used.

4 Days without insurance, then a ridicules amount to change vehicle, phoned, just said lines closed although this is not what it said on web sight, even after bank holiday, Tuesday in the day, said closed, couldn't change my vehicle because they weren't up to date with DVLA, finally when got on live chat they tried to up sell me & when I was having non of it charged me $57. admin fee for cancelling, not taking into account any customer consideration for what i had gone through trying to speak to them, having an uninsured car, I was polite all the way apart from saying ONE CALL ONE CALL MY #RSE Terrible absolutely terrible, no give no customer empathy whatsoever

Very dodgy can't call online chat is non existent there going to cancel my policy if I don't get in touch with them which I have tried time and time again stay well clear I have cancelled my direct debit with them

Was able to use the chat function to renew quote which was pretty simple. Only slight de-merits 1. chat response a bit slow 2. the original renewal was double what I finally paid for similar cover from the same company - shame you have to go through this song and dance ever year

I have just ended a live chat with One Call The advisor told me that at the end of the chat there would be a place for me to put my email and I would get a copy of the live chat sent by email TOTALLY UNTRUE !!!

Have been with OneCall for 2 years and never had a problem. The live chat with Holly D sorted my self made problem out quickly and easily. My only negative is having no phone number except for claims, but that is personal thing as the majority of companies are now online. Preferred using the app as I found that much easier.

No customer service, renewal is shockingly high compared to other quotes, yet can't get though to customer services to cancel auto renewal. Rip off merchants.
