I visited VFS on Thursday 4 April for Schengen visa. The first set of staff who checked the documents for the Schengen (Switzerland) visa were very curt and indifferent and tried to make the process as stressful and difficult as possible. There were two ladies manning the desk who had such a condescending attitude and probably not fully aware of the requirements for the job. I am travelling with a minor and despite me producing the original affidavit from my husband granting permission for my minor daughter to travel, they insisted on my husband's signature on the form and I was asked to get him to travel around 30kms for this purpose only to be told by the First Floor staff that the original affidavit would suffice.The staff on Level 1 were so courteous and polite and really compensated for the unpleasant experience of the Ground Floor staff who were checking the documents for Switzerland visa. The rest of the experience was really good as right from doormen/security, reception and all others made it so easy and pleasant for us.Because of these couple of staff the entire system gets a bad name and this has to be called out. We do not expect such bad negative behaviour from educated people.

Appointment was for 10.15 but it was 12.10 before I was seen. As far as I am concerned, 10.15 means 10.15. Had I paid for parking until, say 11.00 or 11.30, I would have been at risk of having the car immobilised or paying a substantial fine/penalty. There did not seem to be any reason for the delay other than poor management. Further, someone arriving well after me was seen earlier. Processing was efficient.

"VFS Global in Iran is a fraud"

VFS Global in Iran is a fraud. For the last two months we were checking the website for appointment everyday and no appointment available. Embassy claims that they release time regularly but VFS website always giving error and not able to log in. I also sent them an email but no response.

The staff were freindly and helpful . Easy procedures and well organised. The only thing isvthat they need more staff at the counter there was shortage only one lady to check and recieve the application but she was very efficient and helpful her name is Angela. Overall it was nice experience

"Bad experience"

I travelled from another city of Turkey to give fingerprints etc for only one day, same night I was back ...Next day they informed me saying they couldn't get fingerprints properly...Plus most of the employees don't mind or don't give any importance to what's going on...And I had to rearrange flights&everything and travel to Istanbul again, is it this simple? My experience was really awful, not professional.
