"Absolutely hopeless"

Absolutely hopeless. Tried all day to get through without success. Even a 50 long queue for the chat bot. Not sure if you could ever get through if you needed to after an accident. I'm now on my second day trying to get through so I can cancel my automatic renew. They seem to deliberately make this very difficult. One thing to watch for is the option for them to call you back. They do but hang up after one second. Happened 3 times so far. Never ever use these guys. They are cheap but unusable.

"Purchasing new car and wanted price for staying with them?"

Looking to get quote for new car and asked as existing policy only 3 months in for old car. System would not let me input information as new car has same private registration. Went via chat and agent very helpful but cost of pro rata increase expensive. Then asked for cost if cancelled and went elsewhere. Again cost very high despite still having 9 months to run. I would have been ok about cost if it wasn't for fact same company online was offering cheaper insurance and for full 12 months. Asked to raise a complaint and get transcript of call. Found no connection and no transcript has been emailed! Feel agent doing best within script and pricing but pricing wrong for pro rata either addition of new vehicle or a cancellation of policy when offering a full 12 months for less! Awaiting contact from complaints department and copy of transcript yet to be received! This should be automatically sent or at least asked if want!

Put my car insurance up 30% with no notice. Surprise, surprise, when I challenged it, they miraculously managed to find a quote for the same cover with a 5% increase. Too late - went to Aviva and saved money.

The information sent in the email doesn't look like taking me in the right direction.Will have to spend time to talk to customer services. I'm not excited about that especially because I'm new to this insurance company.

"Totally fraudulent"

Totally fraudulent, and this opinion is confirmed but citizens advice bureau and LV insurance. Do not trust them. I have even received false documents from them with dates amended in their favour. The online chat portal is also extremely suspicious.Please avoid any dealings with them

"Terrible company, ignored written instruction to cancel an insurance policy"

One star is too generous. I recently sold a property and went online to cancel the home insurance with One Call. It couldn't be done online, only by LiveChat. That consistently didn't work, so as there are no phone numbers or email addresses I wrote a letter to the company, explaining that I hadn't been able to get in touch via LiveChat and instructing them to cancel the policy as of the sale date. A week later, I got an email reply to my letter saying I have to contact them via LiveChat. Just tried to do so again and it still doesn't work!! Why did this company not follow my written instructions to cancel my insurance policy with them? It's completely absurd (and possibly illegal??) to ignore a customer's written instructions to cancel an insurance policy. Do not use this company, unless you are already insane, or wish to be driven absolutely insane by them.
