"Involved for the wrong item and overcharged"

Although I chose the book I wanted and paid for it I was invoiced for the wrong thing and was told I couldn't cancel the order and would have to return it. I also paid $5.95 for one of the books I ordered and it arrived with a price sticker saying it cost $1. I appreciate second hand books have more value than that but if you're going to increase the price nearly 6x as much as you paid for it at least take the sticker off the front. Will be returning the whole order as the whole experience was very disappointing.

"Disappointed"

Ordered book on 1st April, on 10th April no sign of it. Went online told to wait 10 working days before they would act. Strangely later that day got an email to say it was on its way, arrived 2 days later. The condition had been described as 'as new'. It had a label on the front partly pulled off, was scuffed and had folded pages.

"Terrible customer service"

I ordered 4 children's books, but instead received 3 adult novels.Customer Service terrible, and extremely slow to answer. They only replied after numerous emails, eventually was offered a refund. Still waiting on that

"Utterly appalling customer care"

Utterly appalling customer care Bought 12 books, all same style by same author, so they'd match for my bookcase display. 7 of the books, the wrong edition was sent.Requested to return and they pay postage as their error - which they admitted in the apology of 'wrong edition sent'. Policy says they'll pay return if their error, but Customer Support not in the least bit interested Advertise different editions, but send any random version, not the one you want. Rude, flippant responses from so-called 'Customer Support Heroes'One book bought as 'Very Good' condition - it was cut/ripped on from cover - stuck together with a white stickerShocking quality and service from a company who clearly just want to take your money and do not care if you are happy with what you've bought - avoid like the plague - worst shopping experience I've ever had.Books aren't even that cheap for second hand - you can get much better quality for half the price in a charity shop.

"Impossible to report an issue with a book."

I buy a lot of books from WOB but one in my latest order was not in the condition I expected - it was listed as 'very good condition', but was grubby with dog-eared corners. I found it impossible to use the 'Watson' chatbot to report the problem - it just kept shutting me down. I cannot see any other way of contacting WOB to report a problem. Very poor service, which is a shame, as I have been a regular customer over several years.

Ordered a DVD , packaging awful , but a replacement was sent out , be aware in what you order and do not accept any damaged goods , WOD are great but !!!

"I ordered a new book and paid for it."

I ordered a new book and paid for it via PayPal but then the order was cancelled with no reason as to why and money refunded. I was rather annoyed as I could have ordered the item elsewhere and now I have to do that.
