"Good luck with this company."

The book I have just received has, evidently not been assessed for quality. If so, how on earth did it get a "Very Good" description. There are several pages with food stains. Pages 186 to 191 and it actually makes me feel nauseas handling it. So this copy of Chris Ryan "The Kill Zone" is going in the bin.I did try to claim a refund but WOB do not seem to trust anyone and make it very difficult to return.I shall not be using them again.

"Buyer beware!"

I ordered and paid for a book, but then I had to take a trip out of the country.So my neighbor collected my mail and packages.When I returned home I noticed the book that I ordered hadn't arrived.So I sent Wob a message describing the circumstances.At first they said that they would not send the book or give me a refund.But a few days later I received another message saying that they decided to refund my money.But they didn't do it.So they are not to be trusted.I don't understand how they can treat customers this way.

"When they get it right the best company to buy books from"

Brought so many books and always pleased by the quality of the books, almost new in quality. Arrive speedily and well packaged. This time parcel was open and two books missing. The ai reporting service was a waste of time on the website so emailed with no response. So after being a really happy customer for two years purchasing many books and DVDs considering not using again sadly.

"Always totally happy with service."

- Always totally happy with service from WOB - easy to deal with - When they used the Amazon outlet their book quality was 100%- But my recent purchases, like I bought all the Manhattan series (except the Hamptons) - and two of them have spines ready to fall apart - a one of which pages did fall out.-- I could live with this - the books are 7 or 8 years old. But my last book, the first 14 pages were actually missing. For any book lover this is a cardinal sin.- This was "Miracle on 5th Avenue"",--- I am not writing for a refund or anything - but you have to realise that you will lose customers every time that happens.- More quality control in your post room is required.

"Not impressed l"

No purchase after 14 days, kept being told it was on the way! Royal Mail said it had never received into their system! Had zero response to phone calls and emails, aWatson kept repeating the same drivel about being on the way when clearly it had not.

"Ordered a bundle of games"

Ordered a bundle of games, an hour after purchase I messages asking to cancel part of it.... the order got delivered anyway and I've been trying to get in contact for nearly 2 weeks to one reply that no one followed up!

"Dodgy world of books!"

Ordered two books but one was battered and tatty. Contacted customer service who only offered replacement but no refund. Told them which book I would like instead, but I'm still waiting for a response a week later!??Would avoid this dodgy set of time wasters!

"Books not protected during shipping"

The books I ordered were likely in the condition advertised prior to receipt. However, no care was taken to ensure that the books would arrive in the same condition since they were simply placed in a thin plastic shipping envelope.I understand wanting to reduce shipping materials, but when books are damaged due to inadequate shipping protection it defeats the purpose of reusing books and reducing waste.I'm particular, the books I ordered has plastic parts extending out from the book. Both books (same book x2) arrived with smashed spines and plastic parts popped out and damaged. Still usable but that could have been easily avoided.

"Horrible service"

Horrible service, setup an account and bought a book. I received no confirmation of account setup or book but money has been taken. Cannot log in to account and no password reset email coming through. Shocking

"Missing Fairy letters"

Had many books from WOB in very good condition but sadly on this occassion I was disappointed. The book was Dear Tooth Fairy for my granddaughter. Unfortunately all of the fairy letters were missing .
