"I recently ordered 4 books"

I recently ordered 4 books, three of which arrived. After waiting some days for the remaining book I noticed, on logging in to my WoB account that it claimed all of my order had been delivered. You'd think nothing would be easier than to contact WoB and sort things out. This was my mistake. WoB doesn't allow direct phone calls, and only offers a bot chat line (which proved useless) and an email. I have tried several times to submit an email, but without succes. I am racking my brains wondering how to get in touch with WoB. Not a happy customer.

"First time I've been disappointed with."

First time I've been disappointed with my purchases.Two of the books had substantial crush/creasing on the corners. One of the books had a library stamp on the edges of the pages and another book had a hand written message on the inside cover. The other two books were fine, if a little dated. I had planned to give the books to visiting friends, but only two are suitable.

"Poor Customer service"

Raised a complaint. Clearly a pre written response. Remedy was to return a book with food on and send pictures. Clearly don't understand this causes the customer more wasted time for a book that was $3. EBay is the best way forward and better service / honest descriptions of books

"Description as "very good" not accurate"

I was very pleased with the prompt delivery of my order. However, I was disappointed with the condition of all four books. They were all described as "very good", but all were very old (discoloured paper). The spines on two of the paperbacks were very creased. Even a description as "good" would be stretching.Such a shame. Will be more cautious in future.

"Didn't receive items I purchased was."

Didn't receive items I purchased was dissatisfied with world of books tracking info and customer service response time absolutely terrible. I will no longer purchase any books from world of books. Will use other online merchants to purchase books.

"Why have a customer service when no one is answering"

The condition of the bock was absolutly not the condition they it at the store.I contacted the customer support, but got no response.I even tried to chat bot at the site multiple times, but i never got contacted by the support.The condition of the bock is passable, but then lable it as it is and not say it's like new when it clearly isn't.

I ordered the item under "good condition" but it came with horrible, rough marks, and multiple coffee stains! Wob has shown no attempt to refund the item or give any accommodation. I can not even begin to say how furious I was when I saw the condition of the item. If this is what they call good condition, I wonder whats bad. Most the pages looked like they have been dipped in water 20 times. Don't buy from this website. It shows no attempt to accommodate their customers and allows anyone to call their item "good condition"

"Like New Vs. Well Read - an individual experience"

Bought two paperback books by same author, one described as "Like New" and the other "Well Read". Can see very little difference between the amount of wear and tear. Satisfied with my purchases, just a little puzzled by the WoB rating, as I almost didn't buy the second one, which turned out to be 'almost' as good as the first. maybe I was just lucky on this occasion

I bought 4 books and only 3 turned up. I contacted them and someone came straight back to me and said they would re-send the book but it was now out of stock so to choose a new one. I have sent the details of the new book that I'd like instead and since sent another 5 emails and one contact form and I have been completely ignored ever since. Absolutely appalled by the service I've received and gutted my husband didn't get his fourth book for his birthday. I have given up trying to get them to contact me back now.

"Never again"

Bought second hand "Resistance Women" described as very good condition.This was untrue,one page torn and whole book well worn.There was a price on the inside of cover ,which also said gift aided,of $2-99.I was charged$7-11.The actual wording was "like new condition" Will not purchase second hand again .
