"The item never arrived"

The item never arrived, ordered via Amazon.uk.Impossible to track the shipment and impossible to contact the seller. All the useless "communication" is conducted via idiotic AI. I won't buy from this seller again.

"Excellent service"

I have bought several books from Wob over the last year or two and the books have always arrived quickly and in good condition. I was recently sent the wrong book - same title as the one ordered but by a different author. I emailed Wob and received a personal email reply within hours, even though it was a Saturday. They apologised that the one I'd ordered was out of stock but asked if I could choose another book of a similar value. I did this and it arrived promptly. I'm very impressed with their service and will continue to enjoy supporting them and being able to acquire books at such a reasonable price.

"Some issues ."

Service was great delivery prompt but condition of a couple of the books I ordered left a lot to be desired they were described as very good but 1 was tatty and worn 2 book was obviously been left on a shelf where it suffered water damage and sunlight had turned all the pages an off brown colour. Maybe you should have a grading system ie 5 is excellent near perfect condition 1 old worn and marked torn pages etc.

Books never turned up, took some doing but managed to get replacements sent. Unfortunately another company who make it tricky to speak to a human.All fine in the end though.

"The service from WOB was great"

The service from WOB was great, it would have been 5 stars but Royal Mail threw the books which were in a plastic bag with no protection over a 6.5ft wooden gate onto a very solid tarmac drive resulting in damage to the spine, not very happy as one of the books was a gift so I ended up keeping the damaged one.Maybe the books could be packed with a little more protection.

I'm usually very happy with the quality of the items I receive from WOB however I do not think the descriptions of the items I received on my last order matched the items themselves.There were also a number of books which hadn't been cleaned. I understand there will always be wear and tear but I don't want to be receiving books with unknown sticky substances.

"Go on, be a devil?"

The items were delivered by Royal Mail, but UNFORTUNATELY, they did not ring my doorbell, even though I was at home, so they left the items outside my front door, three hours later, I looked at my emails, noticed I had an email from Royal Mail, so went to pick up the parcel, but when I looked, there was no parcel. Considering I live in a small block of flats, where there are other tenants, another tenant has stolen the parcel. But this isn't an isolated incident. Someone in the block has been stealing my post. But I cannot report this incident to the police, as firstly it doesn't warrant a 999 emergency call, as it isn't an emergency, but when I ring 101, no-one ever answers the call, so I give up.

It took over three weeks to receive my book as it was stuck in Purgatory in the infamous New Jersey. However, once received it was in great condition AND even a signed copy which I wasn't expecting. This wasn't my first WOB order and it certainly won't be my last.

"I recently ordered 4 books"

I recently ordered 4 books, three of which arrived. After waiting some days for the remaining book I noticed, on logging in to my WoB account that it claimed all of my order had been delivered. You'd think nothing would be easier than to contact WoB and sort things out. This was my mistake. WoB doesn't allow direct phone calls, and only offers a bot chat line (which proved useless) and an email. I have tried several times to submit an email, but without succes. I am racking my brains wondering how to get in touch with WoB. Not a happy customer.
