I booked a mobile fitting service for replacement tyres and then cancelled. The rescheduling left me a week without my car as the first date offered after cancellation did not suit my circumstances. Very disappointing

So I'll start by saying once a technician attended he was excellent, Shaun from the mobile units in Norwich I can't fault. I'd also say all the people on the phone were doing their best, and quite nice, hence two stars not one, but you can't put lipstick on a pig!The issue is the terrible organisation of the service. Booked 3 days in advance, original slot (1-6) missed, no communication to me (I had to ring in to find out what was happening), promised still being done that night by 8pm, 7.50 I had to ring in again as no technician to be told it couldn't be done now and next earliest slot was 2 days later.One thing that would have made this more acceptable; communicating and keeping me informed proactively rather than me having to call Kwik-fit myself. It's small but can be terribly effective and lead to much better customer experience.As I'm not the only review here to have experienced this type of late warning let down, hopefully it's something you will look to improve on.

"I took my car for a free wheel."

I took my car for a free wheel alignment at the otley kwik fit , the manager informed me that the alignment was out and needed correcting at the cost of $200.20 which I agreed to , 2 week later I had some new tyres fit and a different garage and while it was there they did a free wheel alignment check only to be told the alignment was a mile out , I returned to a different kwik-fit at Knaresborough (who were brilliant) they checked the car and informed me that every wheel needed correcting which they have now sorted , I now have a feeling that there was nothing wrong with my car right from the start and I payed $200.20 for someone who obviously didn't know what he was doing to put all 4 wheels out of alignment, I certainly feel like I've robbed.
