"Fourth Book Free, I Don't Think So"
I originally did a review and gave WOB two stars. Then deleted it. Isn't the fourth book supposed to be free that's what I asked them after I ordered four books from them on April 3rd 2024. I ordered four books from them. After contacting them with my inquiry. They didn't respond. Though a few days went by at I received an email asking for my customer number (WUS-2404-10958754). After that nothing, zip,zero, zitch. It started out as an inquiry just to find out what their policy regarding this was. Their policy is deliberately ambiguous, and designed as a come-on. I may be naive and ingenuous but they aren't they knew exactly what they were doing. This nothing but a lure, an enticement. There has been no tracking information.and I have not received the books. I don't like being taken advantage of or scammed or ripped off. On April 16th someone named Andy finally responded but only to my first email. The company is now owned by Livingbridge a British private equity firm. Since doing the review suddenly I receive a response? A coincidence? I don't think so. I think that they are playing fast and loose. I don't like it when people play games. I don't trust them. They are deceptive and disingenuous. Caveat Emptor.

"Book not delivered and no human help to sort it out"
One book of an order of 5 was not delivered. It is impossible to get help with this. The AI bot is useless; the so-called email help is useless - clearly AI as it does not read what you say and gives the same answer each time which does not help. I am therefore down $8.09 with no way to get it back, and no human help. The phone number only leads you to a series of emails - presumably they all only have AI responses as well. Angry and disappointed.

Book as described and better price than other sources. Delivery very slow was the only drawback. Took almost two weeks..

Was very happy with WOB but was disappointed last time when I received a book without its dust cover. On the site it showed with the cover. On other sites it states if it is without a cover. I would be cautious about ordering again if it is a book I wish to value and keep.

Incorrect Condition classification Book was classed as condition (like new) but the book that arrived had stained pages also dents and scores on front cover.

I notified them recently that they had sent me completely the wrong book. They acknowledged this but nothing has been done about it.

First, you had all the books I was looking for. My order arrived very speedily and with no charge for postage and packing and the books were in the condition described. Thank you. I'll look for you next time I wish to order books on line.
