"I think WOB is a great place to buy books"

I think WOB has a great selection of books. The prices are great & the company philosophy is excellent.The only thing that could be improved upon is that a lot of books that I looked at did not have a description written about them so I did not purchase any. I think that a description should be provided whenever possible.

My order did not arrive even though I had an email saying it was posted. I waited three weeks to contact WOB. WOB investigated and sent me another which arrived in four days. Overall a good service even though "things happen". Prices and delivery charges are very reasonable.

"Badly! Poor packaging. CS not responding now."

Badly! The first copy of the heavy cookery book arrived damaged. Your plastic packaging is not strong enough. You sent a replacement. It's as FILTHY with pages stuck together with mould. It stank. I have complained and asked for a full refund and you are ignoring my messages now! There is little I can do to get redress and this is not good business.

Great source of used books. The book was in good condition with no damage or pen marks or highlighting - why do people treat books like that? Delivery within a few days. Very satisfied as usual with World of Books.

Quite easy to order. Delivery was as notified, actually a day earlier! Quality of books stated as Very Good Condition was not true. However, a slightly improved copy was sent for one, which was definitely Poor. However, I would describe Condition of others as only Good.

I purchased 3 books 2 arrived and even after sending emails and the ( we will email you back ) form .. Absolutely nothing and it's been over 1 month since I placed my order.. the rating was supposed to be very good condition, the books that did arrive were disgusting dirty conditions. Not happy with the purchase or the after sales service.

Used this site in the past with no problems yet my last 2 recent orders have went horribly. One book order never arrived but was marked as delivered and as other people have said, they just sent me an automatic response saying check with the neighbour which we did and nobody had it. Further communication was ignored completely. No refund, no replacements sent. Customer service is already impossibly difficult to reach which is frustrating.Second order, I ordered 8 books and 3 are missing yet the order Status is marked as Complete. How are you unable to pack books properly and are marking them as complete if they aren't? Haven't had a response or refund/replacement for these either.Not to mention the quality of 'Very Good' books is absolutely not and the packaging for shipping books which book lovers are typically very meticulous over is awful.Never using this site again. AVOID.
