"Zero visibility and service"

hostinger.com recently flagged your review because they don't think it's based on a genuine experience.my recession is real and I'm very very disappointed that it was removed, zero visibility and service, I have to give my Id to show it was true and I hope this doesn't mean I will have problems otherwise who will say what they really think...Payment ID H_6543456 Invoice ID HCY-3835558my site had zero visibility in google, even if I waited for weeks as they told me would be necessary and I put in the key words etc...i understand i had the base version but when I asked for explanations, the help line makes you feel that it's your fault because you're not a computer genious. They ask you to do things that for a 'normal' human being are not possible, very frustrating and disappointing experience, obviously no refund possible, you must ask within 30 days BUT if you have to wait for weeks to be visible in google, time passes...not recommended for 'boomers'

"Misled about the migrating risks to SEO, etc."

I went through the whole process of migrating my site over to Hostinger, which seemed the more cost-effective option. Before making payment and actually migrating, I was informed that Hostinger would handle the migration and that I didn't need the involvement of my web developer at all. Needless to say, that wasn't true.After making payment and 24 hours after the migration, the site went down and I struggled to get hold of the representatives from Hostinger that I had been dealing with before the move.In the end, I did need my developer to fix the issues, because Hostinger couldn't help, so it ended up costing so much more than the price quoted, so I may as well have stayed where I was. I feel a little hussled......

"Warning!"

Hostinger webhosting is nothing but thieves with rude and uneducated support staff.Several years ago I purchased a vps from Hostinger for the purpose of debugging a few client websites with runnaway sql queries that were killing my co-hosted server.I installed the os (Ubuntu) and cyberpanel using their automated script. DNS would simply not work. I have setup many servers using Fedora, Redhat and mostly Centos so I mostly know what I am doing but this was frustrating. Hostinger tech support was useless. First, they did not understand basic English or the problem I was describing and their answer to everything was "reboot the server" or "hire a professional". I finally found a workaround using Cloudflare but their system caused problems with software like Prestashop that uses tokens so I abandoned the server as I didn't really need it.Fast forward to last year. My daughter decided to put up her Prestashop again. Since I still had over a year left on my contract I decided to try again. Still no luck with dns.I noticed in my Hostinger account page that they sell CPanel licenses. Over the years, Cpanel staff has been a huge asset with many server bugs. They can and usually will fix anything. I decided to do a fresh os install and purchase the Cpanel license for the sole reason of fixing the dns issue and gaining some decent tech support. I paid $153 for the license and proceeded to install Cpanel. The install failed twice on a fresh os. I immediately contacted Cpanel and I was told they no longer support 3rd party licenses so I would have to go to Hostinger for support. I explained my problems with Hostinger support and he said Hostinger is contractually obligated to support any Cpanel license the sell. Hostinger told me again to hire a professional. This was less than an hour after I purchased the Cpanel license.I requested a refund for the license because I could not use it and they refused to honor their contract with Cpanel and support it. Of course they refused to refund it and pointed me to a disclaimer that said they dont make refunds for servers. I pointed out that to anyone with a basic knowledge of English, a server and a Cpanel license are two different things so that disclaimer which was not even on the license purchase page was irrelevant. All I got was a rude comment.I went to PayPal and explained the situation. They agreed that a license without support was useless and refunded my $153.I just logged in to my Hostinger account and found out my entire server is suspended with 6 months left on my prepaid contract. The reason? "Abuse" LMFAOThe lesson? Stay away from online predators like Hostinger. Contracts mean nothing to them. If they dont need you they will gladly take your money and give you nothing in return and tell you to pss off if you complain. If they are held accountable by someone they do need, like PayPal or Cpanel, they will behave illegally and childishly and suspend you account and say YOU abused THEM. Good riddance*Its unfortunate that a company can profit from fake reviews enough to pay to bury the legitimate bad reviews

i have recently purchased a server from Hostinger and due to it is too slow i have asked for support using live chat This is the worst support I will ever get .. chat person named Widy she not even ready to support me when asked for support she told me she can provide a refund and not ready to support .. please never purchase from them no support, very slow and worst server only a bot responds to you and after hours you will get rude persons for support .. Updated : 04-03-24 From the response provided below i came to know you guys don't even checked what i have asked so pathetic. I have never discussed regarding any optimization i have asked them the php my admin in your server is not responding even to upload 30 mb file it takes 3-4 hr. From your response itself projecting how you treat complaints.. I will never buy your server ever also i will never recommend it to my clients..thanks..

"Your hosting service not runing smothly."

Your hosting service not runing smothly at all, even Claud Enterprice with simple presta eshop. Resourses we buy are cut, visible differences when try to compare with competitors same resourses same processes. Conection timeout is limited to shortest possible time, not even enough to open prestashop product on backend. Customer service only able to offer to use VPS server, which we do not need at all. We are longterm customer of Hostinger, but looks like would be NOT anymore. ?

"Hostinger lost all my emails."

Two weeks after joining Hostinger, every IMAP email, folder and filter vanished into thin air without a trace. But instead of taking responsibility, Hostinger keeps trying to blame Outlook when in fact I have Gmail and Hotmail in my Outlook and also in Aqua Mail and guess what? Those emails are still in tact and have never been deleted after all these years. Hundreds of emails dating back a few years that I moved over from another hosting company are gone. Pathetic!!

"Assistance service Hostinger.com - Stay away"

We moved to Hostinger.com two years ago, coming from Fastcomet. The prices are attractive, but the customer service is really bad. To remove spam filters from emails, I had to write twenty emails, talk to 5 people, and they all said it couldn't be done, until someone said it was possible. The support chat worked until last month only in Lithuanian and only with pre-set first replies. So, as I don't speak Lithuanian, I had to press randomly, wait for someone to answer me (in Lithuanian) and then after 10 messages of explanation, I could finally get in touch with someone who solved my problems. Now, after just under 2 years, we need to upgrade the VPS service, and the new offers cannot be activated by those who have activated a contract before. Customer service says it's an architectural issue. But I didn't ask for migration, that's my problem. The new offers with 10.49 per month, I get 4 vCPU Cores, 16 GB of RAM, 200 GB of space and 16 TB Bandwidth, if I make the only possible upgrade from my current plan, I can choose a 4vCPU, 4 GB of RAM plan , 80 GB of space and 4 TB Bandwidth for 9.99. They even suggested that I cancel the current plan (and therefore lose over 2 years of already paid service) and sign up for the new plan. Spending little to get only problems, it's really not worth it

"Signed up for a cloud plan"

Signed up for a cloud plan. Trying to import a small, 27mb dbase.First i get ridiculous chatbot answers.Then i wait for hrs.Then I'm told whats the problem the database imported(my ticket advised it had not come in with all tables, multiple times)Then im told, do it using a shell script instead of phpmyadmin. If I wanted shell script hosting without a working phpmyadmin why am i paying for it?Just useless. Worst ever experience.Going elsewhere

"Terrible support and bad payment system..."

I tried multiple times to purchase a simple VPS (KVM4) for annual plan of $129.49. Hostinger makes payments extremely difficult, while I setup the online account via email and email was verified and able to login, no support whatsoever, I was not able to complete the transaction even though my credit card was authorized multiple times. They get you to input all the details and information, select your plan, submit your credit card details and payment information and then decline the transaction, asking for a different card even though the bank already approved the payment. Simple message "not enough funds for complete the transaction". Thousands of dollars available on the account, not an issue, payment details all correct and even the credit card was authorized via text message and email verification code.In the end, submit the information again and repeat the process without any approval for a VPS account. Now they have my details, information where I have nothing in return for a sale that was not complete and to think I would be doing business with this company for years ahead, with no phone or email support after the submission of the credit card details. Fortunately, I will let my charge card deal with this in the event one of those authorizations completes. This is a real waste of time!Great low price, if you can trust them with your payment details and hope for a successful transaction to complete. It is not my credit card that is the issue, it is their system making the payment distracting from the real issue of purchasing a VPS plan and being comfortable with the company that has no real support.

"It's been only 1 day since I purchased."

It's been only 1 day since I purchased my domain, and it has already been suspended. Now they are not providing any assistance, which is really disappointing. I have contacted ICANN, and I am waiting for a solution as soon as possible.
