I have been to Kwikfit Basildon several times, every time you go there the team there are always really helpful, even if you are not buying anything, my most recent visit was to ask them to check my tyres, the guy who was on the desk came out, in lashing rain, twice, to look at my car and then confirmed I didn't need new tyres just yet...so many garages would just tell you that you should replace but I find these guys, whoever you get, are always honest and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you need advice about your car!

Booked for two tyres to be fitted at home between 1800 & 2030, at 20:20 received a telephone call to say that wouldn't be coming. Had to be rescheduled for the next day. They refunded the extra booking fee of $15 which in no way made up for the missed booking and having to cancel other commitments. On this experience would not recommend their mobile service which is a shame as the guy that came next day to fit the tyres was very good.

"Dartford broke my hub cap and stuck it on with glue!"

Kwik Fit Dartford last changed a certain wheel on my car. To pass the mot I needed a new tyre. When the garage went to remove it, they discovered the middle wheel trim/hub cap had been broken and stuck back on with thick black glue/sealant. I did wonder what the black stuff on my alloy was. It never came off. So not only did they cover up breaking part of my wheel, that could have left me in trouble had I got a puncture on the motorway and couldn't get the wheel off because of the glue!!! They've also cost me to replace what they broke. Funny how the tyres are always double what they say too. No, we don't have economy tyre in stock. Only the dear ones... I do remember Kwik Fit wasn't busy. I waited an hour for the tyre to be changed. Now I know why. They had to wait for the glue to dry before giving me the keys.So Kwik Fit. Found you out! Check your cctv. Compensate me for what you did!!!!! I've contacted them direct. They say they changed a different tyre. Which they didn't. I can prove that as there's no tyre on my car if that make! They won't budge. Keep mentioning MOT. I went there with a puncture - flat tyre. Nothing to do with any MOT. I never had an MOT done there.
