If I could give a zero star I would.. Wish I had checked the reviews. No one within 75 miles of me. I asked to cancel on that basis as closest people were 100 plus away.. The email reply said they were sorry I had a less than satisfactory experience.. but no I couldnt cancel as they made no gaurantees!.. So yes we accept we are rubbish.. but we are keeping your money!

This company are a complete con. Their customer care and service are the worst I have ever experienced. Very fast to take cancellation charges for the account even though you are advised there is a cooling off period of 14 days. Charges are extreme aswell $65.00 Shocking!!!

I signed on up 23rd October for 6-months using 60% discount. I live in greater London so figured high number of people on this site within reasonable distance 50k, ended up with not many people, not many likes, messages generally ignored, possibly because people are not full members. That's fine, as i had a 14 day cooling off period. What is not mentioned in any T&Cs on the site or emails, (and only mentioned in a check box on signup which is buried) is they charge your for their personality profile $130 which is included in premium membership, but as I received a discount then this was charged at $65. So I paid nearly $72, had to pay $65 for this profile report, so actually the cooling off period gives around $7 refund, hardly what I'd call cooling off !!

I joined using the discount offer for $12.95 a month for 3 months - wanted to cancel after the first 24 hours - and customer services jargon email said I couldn't cancel and continued to then take $52:95 from my account - again after disputing this they refused to refund any amount and sent me the link to their terms and conditions- DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP USE BUMBLE ITS FREE AND HAVE A BETTER VARIETY ?

I'm going to give 0 stars. But the site will only let me give 1. I am also going to report eharmony to trading standards. If anyone is considering joining this site please do not. The organisation is non ethical and have hidden costs that you do not see when signing up until you've made your purchase. I was only on the site 1 day as I thought I was only signing up to 3 months at $9.95. After I had paid I was told I'd signed up for a year and had to pay $22.95 every month after the first 3 months!!!!! So at the bottom of the email it said I had a 14 day cancellation right which I asked them for. They said they'd charge me $65 for making the profile !!!! No where at the beginning does it say they'll charge $65 for making a profile. I've called my bank to make sure eharmony don't take out the $65. Its a real shame eharmony try to make money out of people's cancellations as I do think it's illegal. I am very good at reading the small print on contracts and this site signs you up to something you did not ask for. I think if they had better customer service and just refund my money within 14 days like they say they will they would be acting above board. Today they have tried taking money out of my account twice. Please do not sign up with this company.
