"I have been charged $219 for a."
I have been charged $219 for a subscription I didn't want but there was nowhere on the site for me to cancel. I cancelled the paypal agreement as that was my only option. It's an absolute scam, they are now trying to recover the monies and threatening me with legal action for a service I didn't want and didn't use as I deleted my profile immediately.

"The company claim to carefully match."
The company claim to carefully match you with compatible partners, this just isn't true. The quality of matches was poor, over 50 % of them had no photograph. You cannot search the site yourself you are sent one or two profiles each day. none of which were ok for me!!! Expensive mistake I won't be repeating

"eharmony is a scam company"
eharmony is a scam company. Beware of signing up for Premium (which you have to do to see any profiles) as they will have hidden charges if or when they do not have that many profiles for you to choose from in your area and you decide to exercise your right to cancel inside the 14 days cooling off period. They will slap you will a hefty charge for some "Personality Profile" they provided you with on sign up. When you challenge it they will quickly throw some ambiguous T&C's at you saying they made it clear there what these "services" are that you used them. They do not clearly refer to this report or these charges and once caught out you have no choice but to be out of pocket for something you never even used. Its a blatant attempt to squeeze more money from you once you realise the service is naff.

"Scam. Avoid"
As others have said this is a complete scam. Very few real people on the site, lack of features such as distance is either 50km or 100km and nothing in between. Worst thing is they will auto renewal even if you have cancelled it! I'm now in a legal dispute to get $190 refunded

"Vile, scammy company"
It is obviously disingenuous to demand $65 for a quiz after the fact, at the same time as offering a 14 day 100% full refund. You can't join the Eharmony if you don't do the 3 minute quiz so clearly indulging in shady business practice. After you have joined the number of matches drops noticeably, blank no photo matches start appearing, and half of them are hundreds of miles away and completely random. Education parity is ignored. You also can't do searches (probably because there aren't more than 300 members nationally). Their terms and conditions are pages long and completely indecipherable. They're also a very nasty (American) company who are pursue $ with harassing emails. They have been complained about on Watchdog and exposed in an article in the Guardian in 2022 yet STILL they are getting away with it. Disgusting company.

"I wish I read the other reviews on here."
I wish I read the other reviews on here about eHarmony, I have felt scammed by their personality report that I hadn't realised I had asked for. Because I hadn't asked for it! I now have to pay for this report regardless of not wanting it in the first place where the majority of it is pretty generic. Avoid avoid!

"Terrible dating site and have had."
Terrible dating site and have had nothing but trouble since day one. Constantly seeing the same person under numerous different profile names. Very expensive for what it is and I'm now being charged $180 for a terrible service. A lot of the members seem to be either scammers or catfishing.

"I want to give them a 0 but there is."
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMI want to give them a 0 but there is none here. This service is a SCAM. I signed up amd they have a 14 day trial where if you cancel within this time frame, then you don't get charged. So I cancelled after 6 days and soon after, they take $49.18. By the way, this is not in their T&Cs at all so if this is not fraud, I don't know what is.I have raised the matter with my bank and I will be reporting to the police and trade union because people should be aware of them.

"Refused a refund without good cause"
I was a member for two years and limited local contacts (I live in rural Somerset). Without me realising they turned on automatic renewals and gave me no notice when they took a full price renewal. When I received my credit card statement I found the payment and immediately contacted them for a refund. Their attitude was effectively "we have your money and you are not getting it back". I finally received a refund by going via my bank and threatening a small claims action.A DREADFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
