"ROBBED !"
This is a copy of my correspondence to E.Harmony who want to charge me $69.for a service I have never even used ! Dear Stella R Customer Service It is illegal to charge me for a service I have not used.I will take this matter to the highest order, as it is unethical how you have treated me as a human being. You are acting immorally by stealing money that does not belong to you from my personal bank account. I will seek compensation for distress.I will make it known publicly how I have been treated. I have over 30 year's experience of working in advertising and I am a psychological Counsellor. I understand behavioural programming and coercion tactics that you use to entice customers with your 'free service. '1-Bombard users with emotive emails and 2-Block users from accessing pictures 3- block users from replying to other users emails unless they subscribe and pay. THIS ACCOUNT HAS NOT USED THE PREMIUM SERVICE ONCE. I Samantha ###### have not seen one picture or written one Premium service email or looked at the Premium Service Personality Entertainment only profile. As soon as I had entered my Bank details I realised I made a mistake. There is a two week cooling off period. I wrote immediately and did not use your services. I also asked for my profile to be removed immediately. I will make a request to see and have removed all my data from your files.E. harmony are on not working ethically with with regards to my account. Any Judge will know that E.Harmony are unreasonable in this matter. The general public at large will also view this as unreasonable, to expect me to pay an extortionate amount for something I have not used nor want. I would advise anyone with any intelligence to not engage with this company especially with their bank details. The free service provided this so called 'Personality Profile' it was already done and now suddenly it is of a value of what ever figure you choose to give it.May I suggest you take this matter to a senior manager and refund my money immediately .Regards.

"What a pile of s**t eHarmony is"
What a pile of s**t eHarmony is! So they tie you into a minimum payment of $65 for their so called "Premium" membership, which is no different to any other dating app in terms of quality, only releasing the T's & C's AFTER you subscribe. They state a two week cancellation period, but in fact, still charge you $65 for a "personalised" (i.e. computer generated) personality profile which you didn't even need or ask for.So I cancel, am charged $65 for approximately 3 days service, to be "individually" matched to the same hopeless morons that are on my local Facebook dating, Tinder and Bumble. And they get away with it. Power to the people?!? Stick to Tinder guys, unless you enjoy being robbed in broad daylight!

"Eharmony have stated in their T&Cs."
Eharmony have stated in their T&Cs (Clause 10) that the ruling and guiding law is that of England. The following COULD therefore be applicable -- The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and all other Consumer Rights and Contract legislation current in 2023.Plus UK Government dating consumer lawsGood luck

"Don't waste your money!"
I thought that paying for a dating website might bring in a better calibre of individual. I'm not sure why but there is just an odd selection of people on this site. I'd say to anyone that Hinge is much better. Most people have very few photos and those that do seem to keep sunglasses on or just take very close photos that don't even show their whole face or so far away there's no point even posting the photo. Despite you having to fill in a copious amount of questionnaires about yourself, the other profiles seem to have skipped this stage somehow or can hide this information from their profile so you really have very little to work with. After looking everyday for a few days at the 'potentials' on this site I cancelled the subscription but they still charge you $65! That's a lot of money for a few days of looking at almost non existent profiles. After emailing them they told me that this $65 is for a personal profile that was emailed to me which is a document that is just the answers to all the questions I filled in when creating my profile but slightly reformatted!

"The worst experience ever"
The worst experience ever. In order to use their service they subscribe you for an annual membership and when you find out that there is only 1 person registered in you area, they don't want to cancel it. So you waste your money for a year. Worst customer service, avoid it. Wouldn't use them even for free.

"Not a subscription but a loan"
After using Eharmony for a few months and having no joy in finding a date with their platform, I decided to cancel my 'subscription'. The website is designed to make cancelling your payments difficult. So I contacted customer service twice only to be flooded with insincerity, a template response and a reminder of my legal obligation to pay the full annual fee. Both representatives had little concern for the cost of living crisis and my personal circumstance. So, if you're thinking of trying Eharmony, just make sure you have some disposable income.

"Dreadful customer service"
Dreadful company. Beware their automatic renewal setting and make sure it's turned off if you intend trying to use their service ( but I wouldn't bother if I were you).I raised a query about whether they'd sent me a reminder of renewal as promised by the confirmation of the original order as I hadn't seen one.I asked three times for details and was only answered when I told them I'd raised the issue with my bank and with Visa.Awful customer service.

"Scammers !"
Scammers !I signed up to 1 year of e harmony over a year ago, paid for the year, and specifically opted out of auto renew. I only went on it a couple of times than never used it. I now all of sudden have several emails from them saying I need to pay $240 to pay for my " premium membership" in full and am being threatened with debt collectors ! There is no way I signed up for this!Tried to email them telling them the above and no response

"Avoid"
I joined this dating site because I thought it was the best one, as they are advertising it to be. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I paid for the Premium Menbership. What a waste of money. Every time I looked on there, there were the same profiles being shown to me. Just terrible. Avoid this dating site if you don't want to be paying for absolutely nothing. I just gave up on it. Waste of time.
