Does not give the option for basic membership, so if you try to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period (as per consumer law) they will claim that a computer genereport justifies a $65 charge being taken from your card. It could have been avoided if you had selected basic membership.. but you're never given the option to choose basic membership. It's a complete stitch-up. Liaising with PayPal, the Guardian (who have covered this issue in an article 2022 which I am not allowed to include here) and trading standards. It's a clear breach of consumer law.

Lack of membership options in 2023. II have decided to only use sites that gives a free grace period or cancel monthly option. After before you have a trial period, how can you know you want to sign up for 6 whole months. It's like those old gym subscriptions where you are locked in. I don't think my generation are open to that because every app and modern gym gives you a trial period or an ability to cancel subscription on a monthly basis. I'm a little disappointed by their response and will not be using e harmony because of its outdated pricing structure.

Wish I had read the reviews before giving them access to my card.Set a profile up 10 months ago, answered all their questions then decided membership was too expensive.10 months later thought maybe it was worth paying so there are not as many time wasters as the free sites.Saw the cooling off period so thought I had nothing to lose. Signed up, gave my details over, there was no one on there, like a ghost town. Decided to cancel and they charged me $65 for the quiz I did 10 months prior ( can't remember it). I have tried messaging and asking for my money back. I have asked them for their address so I can take the matter to a small claims court. Two letters before action have gone unanswered.DO NOT HAND OVER ANY MONEY TO THEM PLEASE!Anyway folks, if we all get together as a collective we have more power in numbers. Stop letting these con artists win. It is agaisnt consumer law, we have rights.

There is nothing free about this site. They say it's free, make you spend 20 minutes filling stuff out, and then straight into a paywall. Don't lie to get members. They trick you into spending all that time answering questions so you think "oh, I'll just pay them now". Scum

You can see the majority reviews are poor, believe them. It's expensive, very slow pace, and very few potential matches local to me in Brighton, I see same people on Tinder which you don't need to pay. I have tried it for one week and cancelled before I continued to commit passed the 14 days- I've been chargered $65. Please don't waste your money and forget even the 14 day trial. It's a rip off.

Big time money scam! Signed up and thought that because there is a 14 day cancellation period, id sign up and cancel if i didnt like it.well the standard of matches were terrible and i knew i wouldnt want to stay for 6 months. so on the same day as signing up i TRIED TO CANCEL.theres no sucn thing as a 14 day cancellation because they still ask for 6 months worth of money.I have no idea how this company keeps going. massive scam!

Paid for a monthly subscription. Waste of time. The website is. Cr@p. I decided I didn't like it so emailed them to say I wanted to cancel. I got an email back to say it had been cancelled and then 4 days later they're taking $56 from my bank. I was only on the site for 2 days. They apparently have a 14 day cooling off period. Thats absolute BS. Stay away from this site its a scam.

Absolute worst company out there. Taking advantage of lonely singles. I joined for under 2 weeks only to find myself locked into a monthly payment for absolutely nothing in return. Same matches for the whole 2 weeks so I opted to leave during my 2 week cool off period. Only to be told I owed $65 for a value of services used! It is a total con don't give them your details.
