"Good value breakdown cover."

The cost was very reasonable. I was unable to access details of the cover until I had purchased it. However when I read the small print, I didn't find any surprises. Only when my car breaks down will I know how good the service is.

"Daylight robbery"

Daylight robbery. My daughter was driving car and tyre blew as it went over a CAT EYE embedded in the M1. Called service, line so bad neither could here other clearly. Operator WRONGLY put down COLLISION WITH A KERB ( ON A MOTORWAY!) and demanded $650 upfront from her. I called operator to clarify but it was as though it had been set in stone by her. No manager to escalate, repeated clarifications seem to fall on deaf ears. Have been informed by a manager who read the ORIGINAL ERRONEOUS NOTE that they were upholding their decision.We have learnt the hard way but upon checking previous reviews, this is not an isolated incident but rather a pattern. Beware low price but quite a sting attached to it.

"Waay too early for me to review"

24 hours in to my purchase I liked the tick box not to auto renew this feature played a major part in my selection decision. I like that Emergency Assist have their own fleet of recovery /repair vehicles. I don't like the desire for my judgement as to how the business performs having only taken the policy yesterday. I'd suggest the important details in the event of a breakdown are presented to policyholders on a small business / credit card so this can be either carried by the policyholder or left in the glovebox. I'd also suggest a division of reviews one aimed at cost, ease of purchase and one for the more important post breakdown users.

Only just joined so not sure how good the service is.Joining was quick any easy with multiple levels of cover offered and st a competitive price.

"Penalised to cancel even before cover start date."

I needed cover for my campervan, looked at the 'eligible' vehicles list, & not listed as not covered, emailed/messaged them to check for sure, no response, so bought cover at a ridiculous low price, always like a discount! After buying I got the reply that my van was not covered, so I asked to cancel, and was charged $10 for admin to cancel despite the cover not actually starting for another 3 weeks. It seems most are happy with E A, & so would I be as the cost, if covered, is evry competitive. Just be sure you dont need to cancel even before the cover starts as there is absolutely no need to be charged to cancel.

Site well laid out and quite a good offer for home start cover. Haven't used services yet just booked new cover. Negative point being pestured by emails.

good competitive price, guy on phone offered parts and labor and with SPRING50 discount made this suit my needs and give me the correct protection, without any hidden things.

After my previous breakdown cover upped the renewal by $30, it was a no brainer to look around, after finding Emergency Assist offering more cover for half my renewal price, so I decided to go with them for the next year.But as I have only just joined we'll see what happens if I make a claim.

Been with Greenflag for a few years, so far not neede their services, had a Mayday cover as I tow a caravan but that is now stored at the farm where we holiday. Have taken out a new policy just for breakdown cover on our 3vehicles, excellent-rice and a added bonus of 50% off our premium, great stuff.
