"Zero stars"

Zero stars. Terms and conditions during the sign up process do not mention the "inception period", I was only notified of this after they took my money. I took out the policy as per the terms of my employment contract which states I must have valid breakdown cover because I work in public transport and a large number of people rely on me to get to work. When my old policy expired two days ago I took out this premium policy, read terms and conditions which seemed ok. This morning I was due to start work at 5am, my car failed to start, called them and was told I could not get breakdown cover due to being within the inception period. They did offer to get me back on the road for $125 which is frankly as disgrace given they have potentially cost me my job and 800+ won't be getting to work this morning now. I will cancel the policy at 9am and pay the extortionate $10 admin fee for not having been told of said Inception period prior to handing over my money (at which point I became liable for admin fees), so that I don't have to deal with a company that mis sells policies or tries to extract $125 from women who need a jump start at 3.45am.

"We reported the fact the car wouldn't."

We reported the fact the car wouldn't start. The person gave us a window of when we would get assistance. Much to our surprise the recovery team rang within about 10 minutes to say they were outside and started the car. Thank you for you help.

"Bunch of criminals."

This is by far the worst company I have dealt with in my entire life. Used their breakdown cover once, took 5 hours for them to arrive. The worlds most useless recovery driver turned up who had no knowledge about cars. They then sent me in the post a bill for 'cancelling the call out' which I never did. After a long process they apologised and cancelled the payment charge. Then to top it off they've just renewed my policy with no prior notice warning and took money out of my bank account when I specifically told them I would never renew with them again.

"Better than AA??"

I have been a member of Emergency Swift (ES) for a number of years. They are reliable and turn up in a timely manner. In this case i advised that i wasn't too far from home so decided to get a taxi but requested they contact me once the tow truck was on its way. I met the driver by my car and he loaded his truck and dropped me off at my local garage. He was on his way to another call which happened to be going close to my address and he kindly dropped me off not to far from my home. That is the reason i keep renewing my membership, they are friendly, trustworthy, reliable and helpful!

"Disgusting attitude"

I opened a policy with them , then received an email saying the direct debit had not been paid, there was ample money in my account and no issue with the bank I phoned then number given and after a long wait I eventually got through to a woman who spoke to me as if I had no right to have the audacity to interrupt her afternoon nap. She refused to let me speak and spoke down to me in a very arrogant manner then hung up on me. I'm pleased to find out what their customer relations are before I needed them and have now cancelled

"Another year's cover sorted"

Another year's cover sorted! I am not one of those folk who just "roll-over" with their renewal; I checked ... reviews, costs, call-out response times, etc. Emergency Assist was, once again, best for me.
