"Poor customer experience:"

Poor customer experience:I am an avid buyer and seller of pre-loved items and have been so for years. This particular customer experience, has been the worst, so I feel inclined to share with others.On 28 Dec 2023 I bought a beautiful Chanel bag from the Designer Exchange store on Kings road in London. This was an impulse purchase which I (almost immediately) regretted. Less than three weeks later I decided to sell this back to the DE and followed their online process. I waited for five working days for a reply (the website confirms an SLA of two working days) and to my surprise, the bag was rejected. The exact message I received reads: '.indicated by your pictures, this item is not in a condition that Designer Exchange can make an offer on.'. I never actually used the bag during those 12 days, so in other words, it was identical to the one I was sold. I follow this up with an email to the DE customer service as I was convinced this must be a mistake. I had already shared their own authentication certificate with them which included the date this was sold to me. Their reply reads: 'I'm sorry to know that we were unable to offer a quote for the Chanel bag. Items need to meet certain requirements as once bought, they will be further sold.'Speechless. "Took my money haven't got item in stock."

Took my money haven't got item in stock and your computer system is so bad it can't send the other items on the order because it doesn't have the capability to cancel and refund the item not in stock and send the other 2 items and your London customer services can't even be bothered to speak with me my custom means that little to you

"Brilliant company to sell with"

Brilliant company, sold one of my Mulberry handbags to designer exchange. They provided me with a quote within 3 days and provided free postage. They regularly kept me up to date on the progress of my bag. Once the bag was received the money was in my account the same day.Excellent service I will be using designer exchange in the future.

"The best customer service"

The staff at designer exchange are amazing and really excel in delivering the best customer service. I was speaking to the Birmingham store staff who went out of their way to help me and reserve an item in store. They kept me informed via email and constantly took care of me. Also the London store were amazing in reviewing my items, providing me quotes quickly for my items and then arranging my vouchers. Thank you so much to both teams. the experience I had was 10/10 and it was a pleasure to deal with.
