I wish I could leave less than one star. I joined believing that they had singles in my area. They didn't and so I cancelled during the 14 day cooling off period and gave my reason. They told me I was being fussy and then took the full amount for my subscription as payment for the personality profile. Complete con and customer service were very rude. I would not recommend.

Do not even bother! Scammers in my eyes. Tried to cancel after 1hr. They sent me an email confirming cancellation and had already took $65 cancellation fee from my account. DISGRACEFUL

This is yet another money making company. Less unpleasant than the likes of m@tch,com but nothing special. Boring. And beware, you are automatically opted into renewing for a year. Sadly no reminder emails received to alert me to this as the date approached (and I had left the site about 3 months earlier having thought I had cancelled everything), and no offer of a refund when I realised I had just lost over $350. Dreadful customer service.

ATTENTION!!!!!! Scam websites.NO REAL PROFILES!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly developed algorithms and employed trolls talking with you in the name of "real" profiles for around one to two weeks after you buy a costly subscription and sign the contract for 1 year for example. It is impossible to make any arrangements for a date during a chat with the people from the profile. As there is no real person, there is no possibility of exchanging mobile numbers during a chat, so you cannot verify that you are talking to the person from the profile. it will take a while before you realise that something is not OK with them. The trolls work undercover, pretending that they are profiles of people they "matched" with you. When the first 14 days pass, there is no movement on the web anymore; no one is sending a message and nobody is answering messages. It is just a dead website. If you decide to cancel the subscription, they will send you a cancellation fee bill for 65 pounds if you cancel it after a 14-day cooling period. Simple Making Money Machine was created to cynically use single people searching for love or friendship. The trolls are paid for by your expensive subscription and a very high cancellation fee.

This is just awful!- You can't see anyone's image unless you pay- You can message anyone again after your first message after your first interaction unless you payThe idea suggested matches based on an algorithm after you answer some questions is nice. but that's as nice as it ever gets. It's all downhill from there

"eHarmony blocks messages to me and there's no way to complain"

I have paid plenty to be a full member of eharmony. I have started chatting online to a number of men over a period of time then they dropped out of the conversation. OK, they could just have decided it's not for them but this week I've been chatting to a man with whom I appeared to have plenty in common. I didn't get a reply from him.. until today I received a short message saying that all his (totally innocent) messages to me are getting blocked by eharmony unless they are very short. Another man told me the same thing this week. That's hardly going to help my love life, is it?Try to report this apparent fault to eHarmony? Try as I might, I could not find a contact mail for customer services on their website. All you get is a 'help' menu of responses, none which addresses the question of why 'clean' messages to me are being blocked. Maybe it's a tactic to make sure I keep paying for a subscription!!

"Subscription only 2 days been charged 65pounds"

I just subscription for 2 days, and not use any service from they, when I cancel my membership and subscription, they charged 65 pounds for Personality Profile. Don't believe 14 days cooling period, you will pay 65 pounds anyway if you join Avoid the unfair company.

I personally didn't like the app at all, I asked for a refund after 4 days and I got only half back. So DON'T sign in !!!!!

I cancelled after 1 day as I could see that the site wasn't what I expected.they promise a 14 day cooling off period which is a useless as they then charge you for the personality profile you do when you sign up for free.I got charged extra as my subscription was less than the $65 they charge you for the personality profile. This was taken without my permission when any decent customer service would have asked if I was sure I wanted to go ahead. Avoid this scam at all costs. I wish I had been warned before.
