"Postal delay"

Postal delay, 2 days late. One phone not programmed with SIM card. Customer service very helpful.

"WAY TOO many phone calls to."

It took way too many phone calls to their 'customer service/support' line to start service, to buy a new phone, to get the line ported over to CC's system, and then to get the phone activated. Which makes me wonder if their TV commercials are intentionally misleading, or just overly naive.

"Big Problem Activating New Phone"

I received my order last week. However, I have been unable to access the website to continue the process of activating my new phone and Apple Watch. I have tried numerous times on several different devices with no success. I even tried to resolve the problem via chat and that didn't work either. So, I have a new phone and watch that are useless right now and I'm unsure how long it will take to resolve the problem.

"Very disappointed with service!"

My order was canceled without my knowledge as the warehouse did not have the color I wanted. I received a confirmation email and then didn't hear anything for 5 days, when I got a Voicemail to call. When I first called, I learned this and was hung up on. I gathered info and called back using the online number to call and got a person who was knowledgeable but could only offer to repeat the order. I was transferred to a supervisor who was able to check availability while we ordered. I tried to get expedited delivery for free but was denied. 4 days and still no phone with expedited charges paid!

"Not all it's cracked up to be."

Service has not been as great as I would have hoped.1) Signal strength-apparently unless you are using a CC branded phone you will get poor signal strength. I brought two phones into the plan both Google Pixels (5 and 5a) had poor signal strength. As soon as I switched to CC branded phone strength went off the scale!2) Text messaging problems. Everybody texts today. My wife's texting was intermittent. I spent endless hours in support trying to get it fixed. Finally they said the phone I brought into the plan was the problem. So I spent $200 for a CC Branded smartphone. Everything seemed alright but then the problems with texting started again! 3) Consumer Cellular upgrades your plan automatically if they feel you will go over data allowance. Problem is they move it up way early in the billing period before knowing if you will actually go over your data limit. So if you are not watching your plan you end up paying more per month. Why don't they wait till later in the billing cycle ot when you actually do go over? In defence of their actions, they do send out an email so you can go back and reduce plan data. 4) When you are trouble-shooting a problem with an agent you can easily spend 1/2 hour on the phone. Then all of a sudden the line drops. Does the agent call you back? No, even if you have the agents name and number, you can never speak with them again! What a waste of time. You spend time on the phone with them then you can't reach them when the line drops. You have to start all over again. Come on CC value my time and yours.5) Frequent dropped calls, which are very apparent when you were with a carrier like Verizon that never drops callsWe have had it with CC and are switching back to Verizon where we got quality.

"It took me three days to activate our."

It took me three days to activate our new phones. Numerous calls for help. Finally on the 3rd day got our phones working. Need a better way of esim and QR code installation. Also the web site was down for a time on the 2nd day. During the process it would have been nice for some contact concerning how things were going. I had to call back and retell the problem numerous times to different people each time. So happy it is all over.
