The customer service rep seemed to be reluctant to help. When I asked something I was told that he couldn't do what I was asking for. Now I'm getting the same things in an email. So, now I'm confused about why I was told I don't qualify for the product I was asking for when I'm getting emails saying I am.

I went through the entire process of researching companies and phones, selected and ordered a phone with Consumer Cellular. The phone came with a phone number in a different area code from where they shipped the phone, where I live. I was informed I could not get a phone number in my area code (heather). I immediately went and got a different service and phone number in my area code and returned the phone and cancelled Consumer Cellular service
