"Amazing service from a trustworthy lender"

I cannot overstate how lucky we were to have Brad Krzysztow help us obtain our mortgage loan. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, polite and professional. My wife and I are very satisfied with the terms of our loan, and very grateful for NBKC bank and Brad helping us through the home buying process.

"Mark from NBKC Bank is the man"

Mark from NBKC Bank did an exceptional job in getting our mortgage together. We already had a lender in mind but decided to shop around. He gave us a more competitive rate and the lender we originally had chosen only matched after we asked. We decided to go with Mark anyway. Through the whole mortgage process, Mark was great at answering and giving advice on any of our random closing questions we had. We just closed and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

Ronald was the most transparent and straight foward loan originator I spoke to. He was quick, efficient and honest . He is very knowledgeable and is happy to share his expertise with his clients. I plan of using him to refinance my house in a few years.

"Amazing customer service!!! Very honest and awesome bank!!"

Zak was amazing!! He answered all my questions and stayed 45 minutes after closing to do so. So kind!! so patient!! Give him a raise!! At one point he told me something was not possible. But then went to confirm what he said was correct with a colleague. He was told it was possible. He immediately corrected himself and apologized. AND admitted to not knowing something. I find that level of honesty very refreshing. And the best part was that given the copious typos in the chat I know for a fact I was talking to a real human! Honestly seeing typos makes me feel so much better because I know that it's a real person on the other end. Zak spent endless time he did not need to, to make sure that all of my questions were answered and that I felt totally comfortable with banking at nbkc. He also walked me through all of my options for transferring money so that I knew every option available to me. He made sure I knew about all the limits on all of the different options. And he gave me useful information such as if I deposited cash through an ATM and the cash exceeded $250 there would be a hold. However he informed me that if I emailed them a copy of the receipt for the transaction they would be able to release the funds same day. He spent a lot of time making sure that things that I wouldn't know to ask for he volunteered information about to make sure I had the best banking experience possible. He wanted to make sure that I knew every option available to me, what were the pros and cons of each, and how I could utilize my online banking to its fullest. I really appreciate that even though we were 45 minutes past their closing time he was still volunteering information like about the hold. He could have just hurried me off the chat. But he didn't. He stayed until he made sure that every last question I had was answered. And that every piece of information he could think of to help me he provided. This level of customer service is rarely seen in business nowadays. I highly recommend banking with ndkc. They're everything account is a wonderful checking account. It offers a great interest rate way above the national average. And their customer service is the best. It's true that their customer service is only available during bankers hours which is a little unusual for an online bank. However it is totally worth it because when you speak to a customer service agent you speak to a real person who is knowledgeable informed and actually cares about you and solving your problems. I think it's well worth giving up 24/7 access to customer service to get great and excellent and high quality customer service every time. I highly recommend banking with nbkc. "NBKC Bank is a true gem"

NBKC Bank is a great bank with awesome people and no fees assessed if you sneeze or look wrong. NBKC Bank offers all the perks of the big banks without hassle, stress or frustration and they not only treat you with kindness and respect but, they don't waste your time. The customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced at any bank.I hate going to the bank and I haven't stepped foot in a bank in about 15 years and my favorite part is, I can do absolutely everything I need to do either online, in the app, via chat or on the phone. They have a network of ATMs pretty much anywhere you are and they got your back.I had a weird situation where I deposited cash into an ATM and the ATM gave me some money back but posted that I had deposited the full amount. I have a moral compass, I am honest, I know right from wrong and I believe in karma so, it was a no brainier that I redeposited the money, which looked like I was adding even more into my account but, I was just putting the original cash back in. I contacted NBKC Bank and spoke with Ian who listened to my situation, confirmed what I was saying, asked questions and began researching what happened. There was a hold on my funds and it really put me in a bad situation as I had multiple bills due the next two days and I needed that money to be available.Ian from NBKC Bank took ownership of the situation and worked hard to get to the bottom it, all while keeping in full contact with me, checking in and reassuring me he was working on it. In the end, Ian was able to figure out the issue, released the funds and saved the day. This level of personal customer service is fading away in big banks and big retailers but not at NBKC Bank. They consistently go above and beyond to exceed customer standards and make banking simple but supportive. I have been through a lot over the past two years with a virus on my brain, learning to walk again, being unable to work much, struggling financially and then the death of my beautiful cat two days ago, this was more stress I just didn't need right now as I'm trying so hard to get caught up and my world back on track. Ian and all the find folks at NBKC Bank have been there for me when I have questions or concerns and they'll be there for you, too I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend NBKC Bank to anyone out there reading this review. Open an account today, you'll be a happier person.

"21 day Close"

Danny and NBKC were so easy to work with on our recent home purchase. Being first time home buyers we had a ton of questions and Danny took the time to answer every single one we had. The process went very quick and we were able to close in just 21 days! Their rates are great and working with Danny was wonderful! We will be working with him again once rates come down and we can refinance.
