He got in touch with the right NBKC team member so that he could give me the right answer, then helped me figure out the best way to move forward with multiple options, explaining each clearly and concisely. Brandon was TOP OF THE LINE. From start to finish. He worked on a holiday trying to lock in the lowest rate. This company actually does not charge VETs fees and unnecessary fees at that. He would reply to emails within 1-2 mins honestly. Called whenever we needed clarification. We closed the loan in a record time of 12 days. If you are considering them use BRANDON.

Mark Quinn is why I give a 1 star review as he is the only person I dealt with at this bank. I am in the market for a house and am buying in the next 30-60 days. Nerd wallet this bank high so I did my initial survey with them. The first red flag (should have stopped there) was getting called within five minutes of doing the online application. Keep in mind, I did this before bed at 930 PM PST and was called soon thereafter. I run operations in seven different states in my respective field so I am not always available. Mark called and texted multiple times during a travel trip to one of my sites. I did not respond as I was working and had a busy week. I then received a nasty-gram via text about me wasting his time. Really??? I'm working.. There are a lot more details I will be posting on other platforms as I am just arriving back home. I am most disappointed in nerd wallet as they are usually decent with there recommendations. I advise to stay away but to each their own.James

"NBKC is the opposite of big and uncaring."
NBKC is the opposite of big and uncaring banks who just look at you as one of millions of customers. Anytime you speak with someone at NBKC they genuinely care and want to resolve the issue for you. You feel like they are your hometown bank. They have the best customer service not only of any bank but of most companies that exist today in any industry. I highly recommend them. Thank you to both Tiffiny and Sierra for your wonderful help recently.
