"Worst experience."
I am a recently graduated student from Kingston university and I am highly disappointed with the service received by Tempest. Firstly, the prices were so so high and unreasonably very expensive. Each photo was almost P38 to P40. The frame photos were even more expensive at P62 to P80. I do not understand how should a student even afford this.I however placed my order after confirming prices very precisely as I am an international student and I really have to think before spending and just today I get an email saying I had underpaid and had to pay P12 pounds more to process my order.I am extremely frustwith this. When I asked them about getting a soft copy they said that's not an option,it's only available as addition to other items.I do not understand what's this sale strategy. But knowing that these photos are important to the students and they would definitely pay for the professional photos, I feel the company just takes advantage of the customers who are just students who have just graduated. And when I came to trustpilot to write a review not just me but a lot more students have a similar experience.Universities should stop using this company's services.Sorry but the company needs to improve this behaviour.

"Absolutely shocking"
Absolutely shocking - the website is so bad, I had to put my card details in 3 times and they are charging me P5 delivery on top of the frankly extortionate prices for one photo. Awful. Don't know why schools still use them.

"Extortionate pricing and little options"
The photos themselves were ok, my daughter is in reception and whilst not the most flattering picture of her its ok, the class photo on the other hand looks really badly cut together, what happened to the class all sitting together on a bench, these images of the class split into small groups and then pasted together looks awful, one poor child is virtually sat alone. As this was her first year at primary school and some family members wanted photos, I have bought the pictures for her but the price was extortionate. I was forced into buying a package of which 60% was not needed and the image size was also not what I really wanted, just to get the images, I also did not like the limited options for the size of photo's and the quality of the cardboard frames is just shocking, you might as well have not bothered with them. neither of the pictures fit into it properly. Alongside the school photo an opportunity to have a photo of my child with her sibling who does not yet attend the school was offered. This was a really nice thing to do and the images were slightly better than the class / individual photo. but again the price was extortionate. In order to get the images I needed for family members I was forced into buying more that I actually needed. In this day and age when the cost of living is so high, the price of these photo's in unjustifiable, the markup on the cost of printing is just unfair. Why can you not allow parent to buy exactly what size photo's they need in the quantities they want without charging the earth. I will be complaining to the school in the hope they do not use this company again,On a side note the nursery also used this company, the standard of picture was much higher but again the cost was unjustifiable forcing me into buying additional images I do not need just to getthe ones I did want. I would not reccomend this company

"With the price you pay you'd expect."
With the price you pay you'd expect these photos to be cropped to size. Beware they aren't ! Lacklustre follow up by customer care as well

"Shocking Prices!"
Photographs are ok, I wish they would use a plain background. The pricing structure is shocking. I've just paid P47 for 2 photographs and feel totally ripped off. Schools should really look into using other companies or hiring freelance photographers. Considering the cost of living crisis, the prices are simply too high. Sadly, if you want a photo of your child whether it be their first year, last year or any in between, you have no choice than to pay it as most school now operate a 'no photo' policy.

"Zero rating"
If I could leave a zero rating I would.I paid P20 to receive the worst printed quality photo I've ever had over the years of school photos. It's not even been cut to size apparently according to customer service "Some sized prints do require self-assembly".Having complained I was told to post it back to receive a partial refund!!!! This I might add is my sons last school photo which makes it even worse. Our other son is at a different school and the company they use is half the price and the quality of the prints is beautiful. What ever you do don't waste money on this company its shocking! Your money is going on packaging and postage not a lot else.

"Discrimination"
Never do business with any organisation such as this that prides itself on direct, positive discrimination against DISABLED children spoiling the look of class photographs (based on current BBC reporting)... Utterly disgraceful, vile company that should not be in business. I hope class action is taken against this lot and an example made of them with major lawsuits and government intervention to impose huge fines on top of the civil cases.Thank you BBC for bringing their discrimination to the front of international media for millions upon millions of people to see what they are really about... It's my personal pleasure to add to the now 67% 1 star rating! "Disability is one of 9 'protected characteristics' covered by discrimination law (Equality Act 2010).Disability discrimination includes direct and indirect discrimination, harassment and victimisation.Disability discrimination can happen in any aspect of work. It can result from decisions made at work or from how people behave towards each other. It could be a regular pattern of behaviour or a one-off incident. It can happen in the workplace, at work social events or when people are working remotely".

"Awful company, nobody should use them."
Firstly, every school photo this company has ever taken of me has been absolutely awful, to the extent where my relatives haven't even recognised that it was me in the sample (we obviously never bought them!) Of course, the fact that they edited out my distinguishing features such as freckles mustn't have helped either! This editing of photographs without permission is my second point; every photo we receive the sample of has been edited without the consent of me or my parents. My brother's chicken-pox scars were edited out of his school photo along with his freckles. We aren't in Victorian times anymore where we must all have perfect, clear, unblemished faces in photographs! We'd like our pictures to actually look like us, please!Thirdly, and most importantly, this company is absolutely disgusting with its treatment of disabled people, particularly those of whom with visible disabilities. Schools across the country have been offered alternative class pictures where the children with "complex needs" have been edited out. This is absolutely vile. I don't know how I'd handle receiving a link to an "alternative photo" with my visibly disabled brother and cousin edited out, I don't know if such a link was distributed to the parents of able bodied children when my brother was still in school. Even if a link like this wasn't sent out, and I hope to God one wasn't, the photographer always made sure that all the visibly disabled children were situated at the back or the far edges of the class photos. This is a rotten company, schools in the UK need to cut ties with them immediately.

"You do not have permission to."
You do not have permission to photograph my children from this moment forward. You recently photographed my son, who has additional needs, and we purchased the images taken. This story broke just days afterwards. We can't wait to see if my son will be in his photo or if you have removed him from the image. From this moment onwards, you have no permission to photo any of my children at school. I will also be urging my local authority to not allow you to enter any educational setting in their jurisdiction.Good riddance to bad rubbish.
