"DFDS mini-cruise from Newcastle March 2024"

I have just returned from the DFDS Mini cruise to Amsterdam from/to Newcastle.I have to say how organised the experience was, the bus/coach transfers etc. The onboard crew on Princess Seaways were excellent, could not do enough to help at all times. The onboard buffet had a large variety available and again the staff were polite. friendly and always there to help. Altogether a trip I enjoyed.

All went to plan no hitches. The Ferry was very clean and all the team pleasant.

Since the closure of Eurotunnel's Frequent Traveller ticket option and the exorbitant post Covid price rises LeShuttle charges, even for mid-week, nighttime, out of season tickets, I looked elsewhere for my options to drive my car between Southern UK and France and my option of choice is now DFDS.The ships depart on-time, are clean, modern, offer a smoother journey in choppy seas (compared to legacy ferries) and I get a chance to relax and grab a bite to eat or drink when on-board. Oh, and the Duty-Free prices are far better that the Eurotunnel shop, so overall, DFDS offers me excellent service and value.

Great trip, food and drinks excellent and well priced, boat very clean, entertainment good. Would have been 5 stars except for the queuing when leaving both in Amsterdam and on our return to Newcastle.

"Disgraceful and criminal behaviour !"

I've just watched on social media a video of one of your drivers attempting to physically attack an amateur photographer stood on a public pavement, because the photographer was 'lawfully' taking pictures of the driver's DFDS HGV lorry. An absolute thug. If it wasn't for the swift intervention by security guards at the scene his attack would have carried on. Even when he got back into your lorry he continued to make threats "I teach MMA mate, I'll be back in 10 minutes" Does This thug represent the ethos, values and professionalism of your organisation.? Do you feel it is safe for the public when you have somebody with clear anger management issues driving a 38 ton lorry with your logo on the side? Disgraceful and criminal behaviour
