My experience was decidedly poor when inquiring about refinance options for our home. We are members of the Credit Union, and I was surprised so little care - and even dismissiveness - was shown as I asked for information about refinancing. I was told that they were so busy, they didn't want to work up loan estimates unless I was certainly going with them. When one is trying to inquire about rates, closing costs, etc. it is completely reasonable to ask for estimates in order to ensure you as a consumer are getting competitive rates and terms - Great Basin made me feel like I was not a valued customer, and that is why we have chosen not to increase our current accounts and dealings with you all. Customer service and care should be core to everyone's approach, and sadly, that was not the case in my experience.

I've never had any problems with my accounts. All my transactions have been easy and convenient. The people at my credit union in Sparks are friendly and helpful. The hrs. of operation are easy for me. Great Basin is conveniently located for me to use.

I requested a Lein Release from the main branch and they stated I would be notified by the local branch when it was ready to be picked up. After a week I called for a status check and was told it be should be ready. I went to the local office and was told they were waiting for me to come to the office before they completed the form. It would have been helpful to have that information in the beginning.
