I had quite a few questions regarding how my credit report will impact me and she answered every question, explaining in detail every aspect in a language I understood. I initially felt a mixture of fear and embarrassment about the whole situation. Peter did not judge me at all and made me feel comfortable discussing my finances. In a way, I think that's helped me judge myself a little less and I don't feel as guilty or ashamed as I did.Peter was patient whilst I appealed debts I deemed unfair, and even sent a moratorium to put my mind at ease whilst waiting. Despite this process taking a while, Peter checked back in when he said he would.I initially had every intention of taking out a Trust Deed, however, after discussing all options, this turned out to not be best suited to me. I am so glad that all options were discussed clearly so that I could make an informed choice.I am now entering a plan under the Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) as it is better suited to my personal circumstances. I am so relieved to be entering into 2024 knowing that I will no longer be overwhelmed by harassing phone calls and letters from creditors. I look forward to being able to open future mail and take my phone off do not disturb mode.I honestly can't thank Peter and Harper McDermott enough for helping me deal with everything.
