"Do not use !"

Do not use !! Completely unsuitable for removing furniture for Charity Shop donation. I booked two collections via Compton Hospice shop for several large items of furniture in good condition ideal for sale . I explained to the shop that I lived 1 hr away from my late Mothers house but they said the collection could only be specified to that date not a suitable time window. The shop said Boxmove started at 8.00 am giving a 90minute window. Needless to say the first text from Boxmove arrived at 6.45 pm the day before saying 7.06 to 8.06 am. It was impossible for me to arrive at that time so I had to cancel and re book for today . The shop said they could only email Boxmove not speak to them directly , they did request a later collection however. This turned out to be 7.56am to 8.26 I endeavoured to get to the house for the 7.56 am but was slightly late the drivers called at 8.10am saying I would need to rebook again. As a result I will need to find an alternative Charity Shop to pick up the good quality furniture to sell. Compton Hospice need to change their collection company.

They were here on time , very polite and were careful of my property when manoeuvring the settee out of the front door. I would definitely use them and The Sue Rider charity again should I have any thing big to give .

Friendly people. Arrived when expected with a call to say they were on their way. Proficiently moved the item of furniture from my house and into their van without any problem. Great experience!

"Bad experience, damaged on delivery"

Table and chairs delivered. 1 chair broken in transit, which the driver admitted upon arrival. We should have returned there and then but thought it fixable. Drivers departed before we could inspect the table as they do not assemble furniture once delivered. Table was scratched, chipped and marked on table top and not in the condition we purchased from the store. Obviously the furniture had not been loaded on the van correctly or with any care. Spent most of the day trying to return items and ultimately the charity sent their own driver to collect as Boxmove would not return that day to rectify the situation. Totally unacceptable that due care and diligence was not taken to ensure goods arrived in expected condition as purchased. The charity has lost a sale and damaged items are probably not in a saleable condition due to Boxmove incompetence. We will never purchase any items again that are delivered by this company. Boxmove get your act together, charities rely on funds raised from good quality donations and you have let them, and us, down on this occasion-disgraceful service

On time if no hold ups and the driver and his helper were very polite and helpful.

Received arrival timescales the evening before delivery, which I found helpful. Also texted following previous delivery to let me know they would be with me shortly. Arrived approximately 20 minutes later and this was within the original timescale I was given.On arrival M and S were polite and friendly and delivered items with care.

Two really nice guys came to take some unwanted furniture to Sue Ryder. Very efficient and I was kept up to date with their arrive time etc.
