"Shocking"

We went with Bens Gutters for a gutter clear out and gutter clean as we hoped for a professional job on our 4 bedroom detached house for a price of pound275.Instead, we were alarmed to see the standard of their work was so poor. Not all gutters were cleared properly, fascias and gutters still had dirty marks and lots of dirty dripping water was left which has now dried to leave a mess. Also all of our windows are also now badly marked and need re-cleaning. I complained to Bens Gutters. Once they received my pictures/videos (I believe) they were also shocked by the poor work. They did offer to come back and do the job properly but they should have done this first time. I declined the offer and agreed a part payment (just for the gutter clearing).Having read many reviews here it is now obvious to us that as a national company they employ local people, the quality of the work varies, and there are no standards set for the company.If you opt for Bens Gutters there is a good chance you will be very disappointed.

The require ment to prepay for this service is not ideal.We are an elderly couple living in a two story detached house. Previously I did my own gutter cleaning but at 80 years old I decided to use your company. Your method of cleaning is basic (water and a bucket) and a little messy. They do not wipe down the underside of the gutters even though they made some of the mess (photos can be supplied). I have now paid my usual window cleaner to do the job properly while cleaning the windows which your men made a mess of. I have now agreed that in future my guttering will be properly cleaned inside and out, every year by my local window cleaner at a fraction of the price Ben's Gutters havv charged.Your pricing and finished work will lose you a lot of customers.

Very reasonable and quick to respond to any queries. Job was attended by RAYMOND, who was very patient as I wasn't at the property at the allocated time to allow him access to the back garden. Nothing was an issue for Raymond as access into the back garden was difficult. Very polite and understanding. Completely happy with the job, thank you.
