I like the way it works and that the exchange minimums are lower than say exodus. i still keep in exodus but i send mining to Locks so i can change it if i want then exodus for longer storage. Sucks that the mobile app is down and can't seem to get figured out

The app is good. The fees cold be more cheap.

Locks Wallet doesn't take anything on top, fees are paid to miners entirely. Fees for exchange and buying operations are always included in the estimated that you see before the transaction. You see what you get, and we believe that is fair.

"On the surface"

On the surface, it looks like a modern multi-wallet with some cool features. Except it's more than that. A lot more. It's a money trap, and they're not clear about their intentions, the way the system works, and a lot of other things you should probably know about it ahead of time. This is prima-face securities fraud, and I'm actually kind of shocked that this program is allowed to exist.I am bothered by the fact that the fees are both in Etherium for coins that have nothing to do with Etherium, as well as having minimum fees that are much higher than the small test amounts I would ever put into a wallet I'm not experienced with.What this does is lock you in.Oh, also, if you don't login for a set amount of time, I don't remember the duration... they take your money. No notices, no warning. Just gone.So, it's a scam in the classical sense.It's literally designed to take your money, and there isn't a damned thing you can do.Furthermore, it's not a wallet in the traditional sense, as in you lose access to your private keys completely, and they're locked in a black-box, as long as they're there. So you can't manually move your wallet the standard natural way. You're just sort of... out of luck.The good news, is that I only lost $50 in it. I could have lost a lot more.This program is malicious garbage

The reason for your frustration is that you faced one blockchain rule, which may seem like a complication from the side of our wallet, but it is not. The rule is: each token requires a network fee to be paid in the coin it is based on. For example, LINK is an ETH based token, so the commission will be in ETH.Kindly note, the ETH network is currently heavily overloaded. It is indeed very expensive to transfer ERC20 tokens right now. We could recommend waiting until the ETH network goes back to normal, so that the fees are not so outrageously high.In Locks Wallet you fully control assets by owning private keys. It is a decentralized non-custodial wallet, we don't have any access to your private information and funds.
