"Mosh exceeded my expectations"

I have been watching Mosh on YouTube since long time. I took his courses on Udemy as well. I had high hopes when I decided to purchase his website monthly subscription. I must say he exceeded my expectations. The courses on his website are more detailed and well structured as well as detailed. Totally recommended.

"Mosh's videos are so well conducted and."

Mosh's videos are so well conducted and thorough. A lot of other self training courses I have taken don't really fit my learning style.(either that or I never enjoyed the other courses because they weren't about coding) seriously great stuff here. And having a monthly subscription is handy for me when I can't afford buying a whole course

"Mosh is an excellent instructor!!He."

Mosh is an excellent instructor!!He ensures that you not only grab the concept but also be able to apply it by your own with his strategic explanations in place in the event you are tackling a different but similar query. He's more fixated to ~give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime~ What a gem we have in Mosh.I took his SQL and PYTHON courses and they helped me people propel forward in my career path.Thank you is the least I could say??

"Great Teaching Style"

The teaching style that Mosh applies to his courses is simply awesome. He has the art of breaking down complex topics into simple and digestible forms that make them easy to understand. He also structures the courses so that they remain relative short while maintaining great content quality; each lesson is packed with valuable advices and practices that we can immediately apply to our day to day developer job.

"Has aged quite well"

It was hard for me to follow the Database Design section. This was not the fault of the course, but that Workbench at present does not work for EER visual editing under MacOS. There are other EER editors out there even online in the Web without the need for local installition. Personally I don't quite see the purpose of modelling in three stages, i.e. conceptual, logical, physical. The first two steps are basically lost, as you have to do the last one anyway. But maybe it's didactic. For communicating with non coders, conceptual and logical diagrams are not really easier to understand. I could not see myself doing this in a real project unless forced to do so by internally imposed conventions. With some experience textual database definition is definitely easier and more reproducible and easier to version than graphical. You can alway reverse engineer the flashy diagrams for your boss and customers. In particular when using chatGPT to generate the code. Graphic is just a fancy but time consuming distraction. The course is still more than usable after 4 years. Should one ever want to provide a newer version, I'd use phpmyadmin in the browser for demonstration and/or VSCode with SQL extensions and CoPilot instead of Workbench. Workbench has not aged so well.
